hey , i have that windsheild thing that I removed , now the black plastic bit that goes between the 2 doors is ripped off a tiny bit as mentioned . so I want that bit . sell him the windshield and sell me that plastic bit ! but you have to get it off without stuffing it up like I did !

if i go to garretts website it has this turbo Turbochargers > GT30 Family > GT3076R - 700382 - 12 and its only like half a turbo . does that mean I could get that bit and chuck the back bit from the HPIAB rb25 bolt on turbo and get a bolt on 90s gt30 ? sorry this is a bit beyond me ......... but what do i do with half a turbo ? this has come up before the good gt30 vs the bad gt30 and i wasnt able to get anywhere then either .

I didnt say my magna wouldnt beat my gtst , i said it wouldnt beat anything ! I bought my gtst stock auto and it was still much quicker than the magna . you ran what 15.3 ? stock gtst should run high 14s . no offence , the magnas a nice car , great family mover for the wife but to say its going to beat a 2.5l turbo sports car is a bit bizarre . and for the record I dont think the auto gts will beat a manual vt v6 , even with an exhaust . NA cubes count and the slush box is just the nail in the coffin

i dont know what your smoking but ive got a 3.5 auto magna and r33 auto gtst and the magna aint creaming anything

so what other bolt on turbos are out there that make substantially more power than the 260rwkw that the hpiab one acheives ? I thought for the price of the the turbo thats a pretty good result .

it doesnt matter if theres a 50 car space , if you cant stop in time and have to swerve into another lane , your to close your at fault . It doesnt matter if they guy decides to just stop in the middle of the road for no reason , if you hit im from behind or commit an offence to avoid hitting him from behind its your fault . Sorry im just telling what is in the road code .

if you read the thread that actual conversion ended up costing 2500 which is still very very cheap im paying 3500 for a r33 conversion , but it does include a new 800$ clutch . his used the old clutch from the front cut

it was your fault , you were following to close . you should always leave enough distance behind the front car to stop if there is sudden braking . Swerving and changing lanes is a never a good idea , lots of people swerve into an opposite oncoming lane and have a head on collision. youve got to break in your lane in time to not hit the car infront , same for the people behind you . If not you were following to close . you have no chance of fighting it and winning . the out of court settlement is to pay the fine .

I agree that there is something not right with the car setup but the car has been tuned by the best wrx tuners in wa , they think its totally normal . it runs full autronic management , its had 20-30k thrown at it . thats not to say its not a quick car . but throw 30k at a gtr and you will get far more impressive results everytime . throw 30k at a gtst and you will have a very hardcore drift weapon

a guy at my work has a 01 wrx and has spent heaps , he just got the us 2.5l block , forged pistons , big turbo etc etc . spent heaps it dynod 180 rwkw , 500nm torque and ran a 13 something ! ive seen gtst's with gt30s put down 300rwkw+ and 700nm of torque on std internals disapointing stuff . it is quite a quick little car at mc so it has its place , but a decent gtr or even a tough gtst would eat it up and a big circuit , street or drag .

hmmm , id imagine some people who have said they would get it wont come up with the cash when it comes down to it (things happen , stuff comes up etc) so how long do we have to wait for them ? I dont mind paying the extra 20$ if it means getting the fc sooner
