  1. Check for restrictions in intake, or exhaust, eg stuffed cat.
  2. Tacho is stuffed, jumps a few times... I agree, diff ratio's
  3. Mine does it on wind down after starting sometimes, usually when cold. Rear Bearing probably needs some grease aka rebuild....
  4. As if you were gonna buy em No one has $$$$ anyway, if they did have money, then they don't own a GTR!!!!
  5. Customs sux!! but usually you don't get slogged!
  6. I have a 34GTR one.
  7. There was an article in HPI magazine a few years back on the zero R, I'm sure.
  8. Cough cough, $$$$ that I don't have at the moment!!! Also don't have any cars going. Also found that the top inner front suspension arm bushes on both sides are stuffed and need to be replaced. On a good note, I have found a source for some new discs, so I'm not selling the brakes now! Pic of kit. More pics soon.
  9. Yep, wish I had a hoist. The amount of times I've been crawling under a car!!.....><
  10. Nice work there. Ain't it great to have a workshop!!!
  11. Hey Chris, Thanks for the comment! and yes I ended up selling the Rota's. Just love the CE28N's. J_R32, The manifolds, I didn't touch this time. Couldn't be bothered with this setup. On my 32GTR with 2530's I did port match the manifolds to the head and turbo flange. If it comes off again, I'll probably do it though. The car has been off the road for a while now. Still sorting out what I'm going to do to the front brakes, as finding a replacement set of rotors is a pain. New front driveshaft is here, and I am halfway through putting a HKS oil cooler kit in with a filter relocation kit. This has a thermostat, unlike the old one I had on my previous car.
  12. That's cool! Now do a 34GTR!!!!
  13. I'm selling the big brake setup off my R34 GTR. Great for high performance cars, track cars of those that want to put their passengers through the front window! It is a CSC brake setup front and rear, with 6 piston front calipers, with 356mm x 32mm rotors, and 2 piston rears. Disc rotors are 2 piece. Adapters and bolts are included and the kit is bolt on. Some of the features of these brakes are: *High Strength Two Piece aluminium Calipers Heat treated and hard anodized *Differential stainless steel piston sized to minimize pad taper *Cast billet mounting brackets *2 piece Rotor design with lightweight centre aluminium adapter *Racing derived rotors with directional curved vane ventilation *Rotors come standard with curved 24 slot design *Uses standard master cylinder *Uses standard brake lines (With ADR approved brake lines available) *Two colours on offer for the Caliper colour Red or Black which are no cost options Condition: Used, calipers in good condition, front discs were replaced 6 months ago, will need a skim or a proper strap drive setup... Rear discs seem fine. Reason for selling: I do not have the cash to run this size of brake setup and replace discs, so I plan to get the stock brembo setup. To suit: R34GTR, maybe R33GTR etc, anyone that can afford to run this setup lol. Minimum wheel size is 18 inch. Price: $2500SOLD Please PM if interested. Pickup prefered, or I can deliver in Syd area. All pics are of actual brakes on my car with 18's.
  14. For info: Did this on my 32GTR years ago. Whiteline camber kit, they use offset bushes to adjust camber, Keep the stock arms and get the old bushes pushed out, done!
  15. Shove a flat blade screwdriver in between the other studs and the shaft of the fan. Always work for me, or you could make the belt really tight by: 1 pushing on the belt, 2 adjusting the tension on the alternator to make the belt stop slipping.

    Hiya

Welcome to the forums. Post up some pics of your car!
  17. The 450 is front heavy anyway, but there is no such thing as too much brakes!
  18. Blitz bodykits in QLD, I'm sure that is their name. ADR compliant fibreglass bonnets.
  19. Running a power fc. So it will get a tune once AFM's and coil packs are replaced. Running stock fuel reg now. There was no evidence of fuel in the fuel reg vac line. He did an oil and filter change. About an extra litre of oil came out due to fuel in the oil!
  20. Workshop says to use engine oil to lube orings....
