  1. You would also have to check base circle size of cams to ensure buckets/shims etc are correct heigth etc.
  2. -5/2530's aren't great for a street car stock bottom RB26, been there done that. -9's will get you 300-330 wkws. I have got nismo AFM's ready to go on once I get injectors, then I'll see what it gets! Have a look in the RB26 dyno topic in forced induction for just about every setup you could think of. And yep, the stock recirculation valves are a good bit of kit up to at lease 30PSI if in good nick.

  5. It's on! We know everyone loves a good cruise, so thanks to your events organiser -Aggroman, and with some great company, so, we're going on one again. This time, we're heading off from Tench Reserve, Penrith West of Sydney. We will be going through some nice twisty country roads, to finish at Megalong Valley to a tea house on the right for a bite. Okay so here's the details; Date: Sunday July 24th, 2011 Meet at: Tench Reserve, Penrith (see linky) Who: Anyone with any car (doesn't have to be a Skyline) What time should I get there: 10:00AM for a 10:30AM departure. The route: I'll have printed maps on the day for people, but goes like: start: Tench Reserve, Penrith Route:Tench Park Jamisontown (Coffee Club opens 8am) > Jamison Rd > Mulgoa Rd > Castlereagh Rd > left at Richmond > North Richmond & Bells Line Of Road > left onto GWH at Mt Victoria > right at the lights at Blackheath and over the level railway crossing > immediately left onto Station St > right onto Shipley Rd > sharp left onto Megalong Rd > through hairpins > cruise down into the valley to tea-house on right hand side after 10 mins. Duration: Expected Cruise time will be 1.5 hours one way. Fuel BP at North Richmond going up Fuel Shell at Faulconbridge on GWH on way back home On this cruise we will ALL be sticking to the speed limit. There will be NO DRIFTING. NO BURNOUTS NOTHING ILLEGAL! We will be the most courteous users on the road, and we will not be doing ANYTHING to cause any disrepute for the club. As with all SAU:NSW events, this cruise will run under a CAMS permit. (we have now approval, 19 Jul 11) This will be another fun day, with the only cost a bit of fuel, and what ever you decide to eat and drink along the way in your car. Bring a walky talkie if you have one, as we will sort out a channel to use at the start. 6. This is actually where the carpark is. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?saddr=Percival+St&daddr=-33.109558,150.695619+to:John+St&hl=en&sll=-33.601355,150.793324&sspn=0.002364,0.005252&geocode=FZJH__0d0Ov8CA%3BFcrJBv4dw277CClZX94bYA8NazHhWz50tAkGEw%3BFf0hD_4dqaoCCQ&mra=dme&mrsp=0&sz=18&via=1&t=h&z=18 And pretty much my door step. Police patrol this road a lot, so no silly stuff!!!
  7. window mounting brackets in the bottom guts of the door are usually part of the rattle problem as well as the felt bits that hold the window in alignment, they tend to wear out and allow window to rattle when it's not fully up. Also squeaks can be deadened by liberal application of double sided foam tape to rubbing trim areas, works great.
  8. Ha ha spot on, conjoined twins?
  9. NEVA!!!!! I think Steve-o's been on the turps a lot lately No time to do stuff!
  10. CV boot fail... Fix asap or you may need a whole new shaft, instead of just a boot due to dirt and crap getting into the joint.
  11. Ya get me form I faxed last week?? or is it a fail?
  12. Use a mig welder and weld something onto the bolt to hold it? Done that on a snapped off bolt and worked a treat.
  13. No probs, I'm only guessing, and I'm sure theres some good examples out there... Lovin' it About to drive it this arvo, after a service!
  14. Seemed to be a lot more problems with the S1 AFMs, and less with the S2 (3 pin plug).
  15. Looks a lot like my old 32!!right down to the wheels.
  16. Was my plan all along Lovin' the pics! And matching owners/drivers to cars? I think the cars drive themselves, we actually take the bus
  17. No worries, been there done that lolz. Hopefully the wheel bearing is okay too.
  18. How you gonna bolt the RB26 alloy AWD sump onto the RB25?, you'll need an adapter.
  19. Get a karcher, they work well, and pretty good price/range available.
  20. Need a hyd press. But you can pull the spindle/bearing assy out in garage, then take it to a workshop. I used a big vice to press my new wheel bearing back onto the spindle on my 32.
  21. Yep the one with 4 nuts holding it to the crossmember and the one on the bottom of the front hub.
  22. Ha ha cheers! I like quiet, non droney exhaust setups and this one works well. Probably see you at the next event...
