Well we got the gearbox back together finally. And the new intake setup is sorted too. We found that the BMC filter setup was too restrictive for the engine, so that got the boot and a replacement was found. That involved going to autobahn and ordering the biggest k&n filter we could get our hands on with a 90mm outlet. Then massaging (hammer ) the engine bay to fit the mammoth filter, which also required the 90mm airflow meter to be chopped. All fitted sweet in the end and the car now goes even better. Farch will explain his test drive later.... The 20cent coin in the second pic gives you an idea how big this thing is!!

Fixed one on a mate's 32GTR once. The motor had seized from water getting into it. I fixed it with WD40 and some persuasion to make it turn again.

Stock tyre on a R33GTR is 245 45 R17 on their 17x9inch rim. A 255 40 R17 on a 17x9 is perfect and you can't get much wider than that anyway without costing a lot more...

Ha ha, nope mirror was facing a funny angle!! Had a look in the daylight today and the only things that copped mirror glass was, driver window, b pillar, and rear spoiler blade. Have to wash the car to see if any paint was damaged. Also went back to the spot where it happened and picked up the plastic bits of the side mirror off the road.

That means spending $$$$$, my last car is testament to that!! Latest aquisition, nismo fuel pump. Only replacing it because I wanted a fresh drop in fuel pump, don't want to bet on 12+ year old pumps supporting more horsepower. I now have to replace the driver side mirror due to some ass in a 4WD side swiping me coming the other way.

Had a 044 in tank setup in my old 32GTR. Had to spend more $$$ on fittings.... They work well and I never had any issues with it being the only pump and in tank. Just bought a Nismo fuel pump for the 34. Paid about $450 for it, drop in replacement. 9615 is the only number on the pump itself, and came with nismo paperwork, in Japanese of course... I have been told they are the same as Denso, made by Denso as well. Only bought it because I wanted a new/fresh pump and drop it in.

Agreed, unless you are running an 80's setup, bush bearing with no water cooling!!

Good to hear it's starting first time every time now! Must go hard!! Need to get mine tuned after the additions!
