  1. That's lucky! I was thinking of running 2 sets of locknuts once, but probably not a good idea.
  2. Speedy recovery mate!!
  3. Spotted at WSID tonight, 2 R35GTRs one black and one gunmetal/nur silver both running 11's. Black one got 11.1 when I looked at the time, the other one was backing off before the finish and got 11.8. Also a purple r33GTR with volk gtcs running as well. Got spotted by a dark r33gtr near emu plains too
  4. -5 340-420RWKW -10/GT-RS 360-500RWKW Rough estimates. Have a look through the RB26 dyno thread and take your pic!!
  5. I would strongly recommend something like a tomei sump baffle, straight bolt in.
  6. What power is the engine going to make, what revs etc. Carillo rods.... Argo rods. then eagle, spool, OEM rods with ARP fasteners. I think it's been discussed numerous times. I'd do a search but the search function is broken.
  7. Compressor wheel is actually aluminum alloy. Steel wheel turbo's generally refer to the turbine/exhaust side, late designs are actually use inconel exhaust wheels for high temp resistance.
  8. Cheers Jarrad, I like the CE28's so much, plus they ain't to bad in the sun either! Thanks Richard, was a mission to fit but it should help out in the long run. It might need a bigger outlet, but we shall see when summer comes around. There was one leak but it was due to me not tightening up a union all the way!! So I finally changed the rotors over yesterday arvo, and yep, no more shudder, nice and smooth. Just have to bed them in before I give them a hard time. It involves me unbolting the hats from the discs and swapping them over for the new discs. All up took less than 2 hours, back on the road . Also found that not only were the calipers fitted upside down, all the discs were on backwards!!!( like that when I bought the car) so don't just look at which way the slots are facing. It's the cooling vanes that tell you which way they face. So now the brakes are all good! If you don't know what I mean when I talk about cooling slots, the discs I have are curved vane, like stock GTR ones. Means that the discs act like an air pump, and air goes in through the center and leaves through the circumference of the disc. If they get put on backwards, in short they don't cool very well and will overheat, just like mine did. Straight vane discs, you can mount either way. At some point I may have to check valve clearances, getting lifter rattle before I get oil pressure, so shims may be up for a check and adjust $$$.
  9. Front's I put in my 32R were some pioneer 5x7 2 ways. They fit in the factory mounts no worries.
  10. Wickid!! Didn't see you, but there was a lot of old celicas there!
  11. How many k's or how long ago did the timing belt get changed? Sort of sounds like the timing belt tensioner bearings sort of rattle...
  12. Another line on the way?
  13. Bleed calipers from furthest from abs to closest last, then bleed abs last.
  14. Did all that on my 32 years ago. Hicas light should be the only light that lights up. 4WD shouldn't be affected. Pull the globe out? I think that's what I did.
  15. Judging by the replies, you sir are the pioneer!! I thought about it years ago but never looked into it. Good idea though. I would fit it where the cable hooks into the latch under the plastic cover, make up a bracket to secure the solenoid and run wiring. Would be a bit of stuffing around to get it to work right but it would be handy.

    Drag Day

How old is this ANDRA rule?? So many street cars can and have run under 12 seconds for years now. Even a stock R35 GTR can go under 12's!!! They need to rethink where they draw the line Also I'd be keen to do a drag day!!
  17. Reinforce the back end of your 34, fit towbar and big ass tow ball. They will then cop it big time if they run up the back of you again!! Evo? I'd get an evo over a subie...
  18. If you don't have a wide crank drive, get a crank collar for the oil pump!!
  19. MRC got it done at some joint for him.... Hope it's something trivial. Will get it out tomorrow.
  20. Bellhousing isn't aligned I'm guessing. Probably needs a lazer alignment down the center. Not my fault!! Good job in removing the box yourself too!!! I didn't have to do it for a change!!
  21. That is funny, just like the non use of the 'search' function.
  22. Sweet, when you're in 'Richmond' let me know. Talk car stuff lol. Good luck sorting the kit. Post up how you go!
  23. Damn!! you should of got a refund!! I'd factor in 20-25kw difference between RWKW and AWKW. So I was thinking 260-265AWKW. I also compared my dyno sheets, old one and new one are the same. Boost and power curve are pretty much the same, so it's the correction factors etc, between the dynos that is different. Don't want to get into details , but if anyone wants an accurate estimate: Take it down the quarter mile, or pull the engine out and put it on an engine dyno
  24. Maybe! I'm at 37.
