  1. Price is $18,000 OBO. Bloody quick and reliable!
  2. Roughly 20kg more than the SR20DET setup (intercooler, turbo, piping etc). So it's not bad. Engineer came around to inspect the car and he was very happy with everything so far. Gearshifter is in and tailshaft is in. Pics to come soon, once the extrac-tam-mators are in lol. Farch can't wait to drive it lol!! Still a bit to do.
  3. VIN:6U9000BNR32220276 ENG no. RB26057029A Sigh....
  4. Number plates stay with the car when sold.
  5. <passenger door
  6. Computer is still hooked up, and there is a dummy resistor load where the rear solenoid and front one used to be for the Hicas.
  7. Can you post up an engine bay shot please?
  8. Dream ride, R34GTR, vspec. Ferrari F40 is out of my price range lol! Well close up it could do with a respray, plenty of reciepts!, stock diff- yes, running castrol synth lsd oil. Turbs done around 40,000km Hicas disabled for rear steer, high/low speed steering sys as per factory (no heavy steering at low speeds). Well the engine has the stock sump and baffle still, so I have always filled it with 6litres of oil, due to the dreaded oil starvation GTR's suffer. I keep an eye on the aftermarket gauge to confirm it's not dropping oil pressure when accelerating, and it doesn't. Like anything if treated properly, warm up, service it and don't bang em off the rev limiter, it's bulletproof. If you track day a modified GTR, more oil mods would be needed such as, oil drain from back of the head to sump, tomei baffle. All covered in sydneykid's thread? More pics, like interior, under the car etc, I'll post tomorrow when I get back to syd.
  9. Nothing like em! The history is imbedded in em. A drivers car, as in you gotta be the driver to know what we are talking about. Thats all I got!
  10. Thanks guys. Also has: Mines cam cover baffles Splitfire coil packs 8 month old stock fuel reg Tomei head gasket and metal intake gaskets kit HKS metal exhaust manifold gaskets gates racing belts I'm negotiable on price as I need the money, got another line in my sights!
  11. No other differences other than the oil pump drive like you said, just gotta measure up bearing clearances. I'd go a new balancer, as the old one could be on the way out after all those years. But yes you can fit them up.
  12. Good vid, that was cool!! Now if only I could build one like that......
  13. Pull the rubber intake pipes off the turbo's and see how much oil is pooled there. If theres is a fair bit then it's (probably) oil getting pumped out of the cam cover breathers into the intake system, and through the PCV valve. Mainly happens with high RPM and or excessive blowby.
  14. CAS wiring into the sensor as the R34's use a slightly different CAS, i think it's just a matter of swapping some pins, the CAS drive is different on the r34 CAM too I think. Yep, coil packs on the 34 have the electronics on the coilpack, so no seperate ignition module like on the 32-33. Duncan, your correct, the cams are the same specs, the only difference is the pre set valve timing is different on the R34 compared to the 32,33. Tomei spread sheet shows 113deg on intake cam on 32-33, 117deg on 34. 125deg on ex for 32-33, 120deg on 33 N1, and 121deg on 34. 240deg duration intake on 32-33-34, 236deg duration exhaust on 32-33-34.
  15. As above plus, 32 engines, 89 to roughly early93ish had the short oil pump drive snout on the crank. All others have the longer pump drive. 34 cam timing cover is plastic. Slighly different cam durations between the 32,33 vs 34.
  16. LOL!!! good morning. Insurance is the only way these days. I've been told stories of vehicles keep at secure parking facilities (defence establishment) and still getting stolen, due to the lowlifes being in contact with certain security members in the past. Guys found out and caught one of the lowlifes one night and made sure they never came back again!
  17. GTS-Ts are great value for money and a lot of fun too. GTR=wallet empying, but I love em. RB20 is a solid engine an likes revs, lacks torque compared to the RB25. All the skylines from the R31 etc have on board diagnostics. RB20 issues, not many but they are getting on, timing belt, idler bearings every 100k, piston damage from detonation, oil pump failure, usual RB stuff. 5 speed will take up to 220RWKW or so. Rust can be an issue with the rear quarter panels, front wheel wells near the floor pan, up under the rear bumper, lower sill areas and around the windows. Genuine GTR parts you can buy from nissan, but they are more expensive than GTS-T's. Stock or hiflow the RB20 is okay to drive around town, bigger turbos will show more lag compared to the later RB25's Swaps are done all the time to the RB25, so it is pretty straight forward, there is plenty of details on this forum. R32-34 have pretty much the same rear irs setups and are a good set up, only prone to lots of neg camber if lowered, (offset bolt, adjustable arms fix that).
  18. Pop out the rear upper welsh plug (core plug) and press in the fitting.....then plumb it into the sump above the oil line.

  20. Airflow meters? Check em.
  21. Is that pressure reading when the oil is cold. See what it reads at 75-80degrees C. They do flow a lot of oil, so yeah oil px relief spring might need some playing with.
  22. Spotted sloane's silver 32gtr at subway in windsor the other day, boody nice car, sounds tough too! Also a black r33 GTST with a GTR badge on the back driving down the Great Western. Yay I got spotted lol!
  23. The belt will rub on the inside of the covers, as the belt is hanging out wider than the block.
