  1. Because they don't crack through the drilled holes like the stock pieces of s%$t. When I bought mine it had N1 front and rear discs, they were great, no cracking. Bought some nissan stock drilled discs and 6 months later they were cracking!! N1 FTMFW!!
  2. 85 generally, 90ish in stop start traffic, 105 on the track. Oil cooler.
  3. You might have to get a bolt head welded onto the filler nut...
  4. Is that all,800HP lol! I wish you were selling it in 4months time!!
  5. F6 Typhoon. Or jap wise a manual toyota chaser
  6. Can't you redrill and tap the hole for the tensioner stud (where it's supposed to go), so that the belt will fit? That would be the easiest solution, if you can fix it...
  7. Lol, your funny, this puppy cost me $2500 and I'm living on maggie noddles till next pay day!!!

I've found that problem as well. But another thing that pisses me off is when I do the speed limit so many people want to do 15km+ over and almost tailgate trying to make me go faster!!, seriously you can't win these days, people going so bloody slow in front and people behind you that think they are schuie! And if you are lucky enough to be driving a 'hoon' car it's 10x worse, as they think you are doing the wrong thing!!, when you just want to get to were you want to go some time today.
  9. Nice buy!! yours is cheaper than mine and should be great for what you want to do (no slippage)! Soft pedals are for weak sauce, daily drivers have soft pedals!!. I'm used to these twin diaphram springs as my 2 previous clutches were os gikken triple and an os twin plate, that now won't engage or disengage (if you buy a second hand clutch use new parts!). This one is a carbonfibre twin plate..
  10. Got me a replacement too Wish I had a hoist, on the ground for me!!
  11. I pulled the bolts out of my gbox and removed eng only as it's so long, but a GTS-T should be possible as long as you have a mate to help.
  12. Clean em with degreaser, dry then spray with wd40, then wrap in gladwrap/plastic. Put in a container, Keep away from water, moisture etc.
  13. Parts as in Factory replacement parts, or all the $$$$ mods/parts you can buy for em!??
  14. Get the turbo's 4 piston calipers with the bolts!, and rear 2 piston setup with 298mm rear disc and drum for the handbrake. The whole rear hub setup will have the handbrake stuff on it. Then you need to see if the center spline of your driveshafts that runs through the rear wheel bearing is smaller than the turbo version...
  15. All I can say is, Enjoy!!

  16. Get a hold of some turbo model front and rear complete hub assemblies and go from there. Then you can also run 4 pot front brakes with 296mm rotors.
  17. Ha ha, had my spoiler off for a while a few years back. My solution was to unhook one of the spring rods from only one of the hinges with a large screw driver(being very carefull while doing this!). The boot wouldn't spring so violently then, and worked like a stock one again. Then when I put the spoiler back on, I just hooked it back up.
  18. Thanks Chris, the mounts are pretty rigid, the engine didn't move when I removed the eng crane! Well here's what was done most of this weekend: Removed CA18 crossmember, and fitted RB20 crossmember, now the power steering lines are out of whack. Engine mounting points now line up, moved engine forward a bit to suit, now the shifter will fit through stock hole as well. Changed the clutch master cylinder, brake booster and cylinder for more compact items, clutch master is R31, booster and master cylinder is an r33 non abs one. Fitted new chain guides, oil seal, water pump etc. Measured up and centered engine and gbox for mounts to be made up. Cut up the steel plate to required shapes for each side and Mig welded them up, then painted. Mounted to engine urethane mounts then, bolted them to engine and crossmember. A side bonus for me was when I crawled under to size up the gbox xmember, I thought I'd try the stock CA18 manual original xmember for fitment, the bloody thing bolted straight on the chassis, and lined up with the VG30 gearbox perfectly!! Pics: Extractors I won't have time to do as I have to head overseas soon, so the owner aka Farch will have to sort it! Check these collectors out though, I told him to get these! work of art!!
  19. Almost lol! Average I pay is $650 ish second hand, currently have an second hand R33 GTR box fitted. High revs, all wheel drive torque loadings, they ain't that bulletproof when they have the km's and age behind them and 2x stock hp. Car had an os tripple plate, First box went, 3rd gear on a second to 3rd gear change, synchros felt weird then bang. Then fractured a clutch fork. Second box was average, synchros were worn, busted the clutch fork pivot after a drive. Put in an os twin plate, Third box bought for $700 and got recoed with new synchros and bearings, $1975. Didn't like the acceleration from the side of the road onto the road and fractured something inside, then a week later the teeth on the cluster gear sheared, sounded like a jackhammer! Now on the 4th box, R33GTR with push type setup....you get good at changing these heavy mofo's with no hoist lol! Sounds good, one less thing you have to worry about, the gears that is!
  20. I'm on my 4th stock box lol!!! Bloody 3rd gear.... When I get to number ten I'll think about an os gearset.
  21. Spotted your Blue? supra, nice car. Ha ha that was me, running rich on boost and the clutch was dying, so revs were going up, speedo wasn't lol!
  22. Yep, have one of their earlier versions with the crap filler neck, too thin. I got a trust filler neck....yet to weld on. Bent the tabs on mine as a temporary fix to increase pressure on seal on cap, temporary as in 2 plus years ago! Later one's are good.
  23. Wheels and choice...tell me about it. Mine are 18x10 inch all round, rays nismo's with 265 35 tyres. Same wheels as on the R33GTR 400R. Good luck with the project, there's a lot of useful info on this site!
  24. You got the bug lol! Had mine over 5 years now! Spent way too much and haven't resprayed it yet (needs it). I put in some new Tein super streets, but thats when they were $1800, and whiteline adjustable sway bars etc. You could go anything like hks, tein buddy club whiteline, all available with height adjustment. Heres mine. They look sweet at this height and still handle well. The only thing you don't get with these is the low down torque and that tough v8 bellow! Good luck with the beast!!
