Bought my HKS 2530's off slide, second hand years ago and they are still great, rebuild HKS more often my a@#. I'd suggest an oil cooler too...

I put in a UAS stage 1 front upgrade setup last weekend, and I must say it's great. Less pedal effort to stop the car and tries to lock the wheels (ABS) if you push harder (265's on 18x10 inch wheels). I'll find out how good they are on the next track day! I was running the standard 296mm setup with project mu 500deg pads and they worked okay on the street, but the car was honestly was under braked for the track after a couple of laps. I'm currently running: stock 4pot sumitomos with adapters 324mm two piece curved vane slotted rotors goodridge braided lines cusco master cylinder brace project mu 500deg pads DBA non slotted $200 each were starting to craze, then standard drilled disks $160 each, which cracked. DBA slotted $245ish each, were still good. Now...

That's gonna be a nice Z!! Pulled the bellhousing off the Z32 gearbox and brought it in to get machined down to suit the adapter plate. The gbox will sit flush with the block so there will be no need to space out the spigot bearing, flywheel etc. Picked up the engine mounts today that we will be using. Got em from UAS. Pulled the starter motor and aircon compressor off the engine as they will not be used. Price to get all new chain guides (around 8 in total), seals, waterpump etc is around $1k!! Thats as far as I have got with it, until I get the bellhousing back anyways. Engine brackets will be fabricated soon. Also the block will need to be notched to allow the starter motor nose to clear, see pic of Marks setup.

A loose gbox x member can make a clunk noise. I had to repair my mount holes (threads were stripped making a couple of the bolts loose and clunked as well) with helicoils as the gbox has been in and out many times in the cars life!!

You can connect it to a few things, as it is compressor out pressure. Straight to the wastgate actuator, Boost controller, Boost gauge, will only show boost though, or just block it off.

Hmm, over three times the legal speed limit....whooops!..shouldn't have a licence. Too bad if someone pulled out of their driveway, or if some kids were on the road for some reason.

Usually you just use the original line from the car to the new caliper. Remove the hard line from the caliper, and hook up the flex line. We did this to an s13 180sx. Hope it works for you.

Can't be assed pulling another set off a 26 again lol. Apparently the next best choice is 2860-5's. When and if I need to replace I'll go them... Good luck, there should be a few kicking around.

All I can say is that they are a good turbo choice for 26's..... I've run 2530's for over 2 years now.

+1 And how many M3's compared to R34GTRs were made?? 12,500 R34GTR's roughly, were produced 99-02.

Talked to John a couple of years ago about the car. It was basically a stock bottom end copping the abuse with a big turbo bolted on, with pretty engine covers. They found out when the engine finally carked it and they cracked it open to inspect. All good now though I'm led to believe.

Change the ecu.....
