  1. Shagged transfer case clutch pack, or the attessa system needs a full bleed...
  2. Get onto spoolup about that, maybe some ARP rod bolts that are higher than the 2000 one's supplied?
  3. 350rwkw on 17psi..... So many variables. Dirtgarage had something like 420rwkw?
  4. Should be a TS2CD Twin plate, sprung center. I'm running the same type with 350+RWKW no worries . Great clutch.
  5. It was only the turbo oil drain line! Luckily lol.
  6. As promised: Play of the day goes to a certain subie!!!: Murdered a set of pads:
  7. No probs . Happy to help, a glad it worked Genelle. Hope all went well in the end. Thanks SAU for a great time!! Being a track 'neuby', I'm glad I finally had a chance to take the beast out to a track day. I was all over the place and chewing up my brakes and tyres, but eased up on the wear and tear once Benm came onboard for a few laps. Thanks very much for the tips and patience! Car held up okay, and I spun off a couple of times lol (damn turn 1!). I went through a front set of new project mu's 400deg pads in 3 sessions, had the bendix ultimates as back up luckily! I got timed on my last session with the 18's and street rubber, and rear wheel drive lol. Got a 1:23, with a best of 1:12. Good to see some new faces too, well done everyone!! Pics to come...
  8. Think I have 12 shims.......
  9. just paid 1140 for a set of six sards!!damn! Good luck with the sale!
  10. Don't let me down car!!! I've spent too much on you!
  11. Nice turn out guys, well done. Some pics:
  12. Sweet. I'm borrowing a mates die grinder, then it'll be ready soon. Give us a oi, or post up when you have ceramicoating up and running!
  13. An engine builder I talked to told me something along those lines too. He has years of experience in all types of engines and also builds up race engines. Main players in an engine, especially a forced induction engine. Oil, oil returns/drains, blowby gasses, crank case ventilation etc. Understanding the physics of whats going on inside your engine at high RPM/boost in certain applications will help explain what 'fix up's' will do/work to your engine setup. I have mostly sorted my oil system for my mostly street car. I have done some things but not others. Forged internals RB26DETT R33 block and crank stock sump baffle and sump R33GTR oil pump Tomei oil restrictor 1.5mm oil returns in head etc drilled out and rear returns die grinded out Mines style cam cover baffles just jap oil/air separator barrel catch can in front of battery I left the cam cover air vents open and took the car for a drive to see how much oil comes out of the vents, after fitting the baffles. Looking forward the l/h breather spat a small amount of oil out. The r/h beather had no oil come out. Fitted the air oil separator on top of the engine and plumbed it all up. It's running full closed setup like factory, with clear piping and no sign of blowby oil = Not the best setup, but I don't smell any oil fumes anymore due to it all being closed loop.
  14. Happy bday to you!!! Another year gone lol.
  15. Ummm?......you? Was going to get it black ceramicoated at High Octane Parramatta. If you can do it I'll go see you.
  16. 95 and late 96 ish. Roughly. Pretty sure they are R33 GTR blocks.
  17. Meh, the only thing I had on hand at the time was a mig and it worked sweet. Should do the job anyways. 1litre engine lol.
  18. My local exhaust joint took a stock exhaust manifold of mine and sent it away to get a flange laser cut. Had some time this arvo and finished miging my steam pipe manifold for my turbo charade project. Just need to finish die grinding it and then get it ceramicoated.
  19. Use a borescope camera down the plug hole to see the top of the piston for serial/part numbers. And use the borescope up the oil drain plug too.... The scopes we use are only 5mm in diameter and flexible, so they are one of the best tools. That's if you can get a hold of one.
  20. After a rear cv drive shaft assembly in good condition, (inner and outer cv's and shaft). Doesn't matter if boots need replacing. I think lh and rh shafts are the same. Please PM me. Cheers, Sean
