  6. Wonder if you could put a light in the dash for indicating cruise control is on. Was it an option on 32 GTRs??? I'm only curious because when I had my dash cluster out it had a hole where a globe would go in, were it said cruise control(if it was lit up).

  10. Torque plate hone etc, Tom at BD4's said to me they build em with 2 thou or less piston to bore clearance (HKS pistons). I can only think they could go that tight if they are a high silicon content piston, and barrel shaped when cold like TOMEI pistons. Also made to suit jap style tight engines, not yankee 10 thou or so clearance lol. Correct me if I'm wrong guys... Cheers.

  14. late 1992 they went to pull type I think. Crank strength is not an issue with the earlier crank, it's the oil pump snout on the crank. Too short to engage pump gear properly and tends to be a weak link in the chain.... Also headlights are slightly different between earlier and later 32's, side intrusion bars were standard too in the later cars. There are a few topics kicking around with plenty of information on the differences.
  15. BN sports or vertex side skirts. I've seen them on 32GTS-Ts more than GTR's..... Looks good though and makes the car look lower

  18. Got some advise regarding cracking/crazing rotors from a brake joint in Penrith. He said that cryogenically treating them makes them less likely to go to crap out, but it doesn't make them last longer. Might try it out on the next set of rotors.

  20. Stubby ratchet ringies are your best friends when doing GTR turbos R+I. Done it over three times now, just need access to top and bottom of the lhs of engine. Remove front turbo and manifold first then the rear. Just look up the manual for instructions. Takes about a day depending on lots of things lol.
  21. My setup: R32: stock bottom end Tomei poncams HKS GT2530's supporting mods etc, 352RWKW @ 17psi Full boost at 4800-5000 rpm. Not responsive, but lots of mid and top end. Something like R34 N1 turbo,s (2860's equivilent) would be a good compromise......
  22. Unless you have 2530's and poncams and have to rev to 8000+. Some guys don't go above 6k!!! Good old oil pump drives are too narrow on the early 32's and thats part of the reason why 7500-8000 redline.
