  1. ya wanna give me a lift shan? I might need one  : D I'm in the same boat as mark...
  2. plan change.. im free almost all friday, so let me know what you wanna do.. by the way, I have only 2 spaces, so it might not actually be that helpful... but how old is the roadworthy you got for getting your car regoed in the first place? as inark mentioned, you can probably just use the same certificate and have your car fixed up without seeing another roadworthy place at all?

wow, there is some really sweet photos here!.. Ill upload mine when I get a chance on the other computer, not that they compare to any of the ones on here but meh.

  5. that sucks balls. Really sorry to hear, I will keep my eyes open for you.
  6. when I first saw that, I saw holden/ford... I will give them a ring to see if i can find that freakin aircon vent..
  7. GD Jap imports in knox, Don't have their contact details on me at the moment, but they should be able to help you out.
  8. bahahahahhaha im so glad i finally heard it.
  9. yeah, you need resistors for the LED's... I reckon blue climate control would look cool... post up the pics when you have it up and going..
  10. hmm if you mechanic is trusted and he suggests that the timing belt needs doing, then I would do it. If he says that it needs doing and it dosn't really and he just wants the money, then you will have to do it soonish for your 100,000k service anyway.. so you might as well. It may also be worth purchasing a timing belt kit, so that all the other things that might go wrong are replaced and you know they will be fine... I recently imported an r32gtst, it had it's timing belt done at 104,000k's the car has done 150,000k's.. I'm going to do the whole kit anyway, even if it is unnesccary. Mainly for piece of mind. The thought of the belt snapping or a bearing seizing up makes me shudder I suppose the main expense when looking at the timing belt is the labour, as it takes a while to do. Take a look at the r33 service manual, it will show you how to do the timing belts there, if you feel up to it, you may find that you can save yourself a fairbit of dough.. good luck
  11. for the hicas... check your powersteering fluid, and all the power steering lines to see if they are leeking.. it's a common occurance on r32's anyway, so it *might* be the same for r33's.. congrats on the purchase.
  12. yep.. second that.. at least tell us why it's so funny../
  13. mmm good point.. but can the NSW government even deduct points from your Victorian license?

    Nur Anybody?

dosn't the NUR spec have stuff that other GTR's don't though? Like N1 Block, N1 turbo's bla bla bla? Correct me if I'm wrong?
  15. dosn't anybody have any ideas at all?.. is there any stuff that is like, stronger than blutak but you can still take it on and off?
  16. bee-r do a kit for this I think. It was in an issue of HPI a few monts ago... to get this particular kit and to bring it over from japan it will cost MASSIVE dollars.. probably not woth it for a body kit....
  17. Hi guys, recently imported a gtst... when it arrived, the sunroof control panel was hanging down by it's wires, because the clips that hold it into the roof have been snapped somewhere along the line... I have tried using double sided tape and velcro to stick the bastard in but it dosn't work!.. I want to avoid using glue incase I ever need to take the panel off for repairs or to change the light bulb or something...... has anybody got any suggestions on how to fix this? Much appreciated.
  18. glue? are you serious? How will you break the bead when you want to change tyres next time? The glue could also cause the tyre to dry and crack causing it to leak also..
  19. just out of curiosity, I thought that only the 89 model gtst's had the blue colour speedo tacho etc.. yet yours is a 92.. did you change it or something along the way?
  20. I will be getting 3rd party fire and theft for my r32 gtst... don't know who with yet.. I know that they aren't really going to pay out on my car, hence I taking out third party.. but what worries me, is if hit a ferrari and it gets written off, that they might go hey, this car is over the power weight ratio, or the window tinting is too dark and illegal bla bla.. and I'll paying this guy's ferrari off for the rest of my life....
  21. sorry to hear dude. What do you need the headlights for? I can't see how the eyelids will effect roadworthy?
  22. If you do a little research, you will find that 89-90 r32 gtst's COUPE's are over the limit, 91 onwards COUPE's are under because they are slightly heavier. All the 32gtst 4 doors are legal as they are marginally heavier too.
  23. I just got my r32gtst coupe registered yesterday (for the second time....f**k you vicroads) and yeah apparently my cars illegal, and they clearly don't care..
  24. ahahhahaah talk about pig bait...
