Well after all this then, next week I'll take my car in for a dyno sess ... and I think I'll go to SST. They seem to have an overall good rap, good price, and my brother took his car there once and the guy seemed like a good bloke. Cheers.

Yeah but some countries have better ways of controlling the crime (ie. UK vs Australia). We need to be so much more strict over here in our sentencing etc. The fact that criminals get off lightly is constantly in the newspaper, but does anything ever get done about it? I doubt it because the more people they send to jail .. which means more money spent on keeping the prisoners in there. And if it costs money, they won't want to do it.

That's exactly right! There shouldn't be such a massive difference in price when each place offers the same service! Oh well! hahah I seriously wish it had a lot more go! I'm thinking that I'm not going to mod this engine much anymore, and then in maybe 2 years I might take the engine out and swap it with something a little more ... interesting

I've taken the fuse out before and driven the car, but was just wondering what the difference, if any, would be on the dyno.

How come all the dynos differ in price so much? All I want is to set the boost using the dyno, adjust the timing and then to give me a readout. I've had prices ranging from $50 to $130 odd (per hour). Where is a good one to go to? Also, do I have to use a 4WD dyno or can I put the car in RWD mode? It won't affect anything if I use RWD mode will it? Cheers.
