  1. Ah shit that sucks hard... As you have said the head looks a bit damaged as well, hope you can possibly salvage something from it all... Time for a stock R33 RB26, ATI balancer and big sump with baffles
  2. haha nice work... I was very jealous that you had that much traction in 2nd in the first video. The second one made me feel a little bit better
  3. I must have taken the I'm with stupid the wrong way... Carry on It's in my signature guys... I mean come on
  4. That is what I was inferring?!?
  5. With 480rwhp I ran 132.5mph... Your set up isn't special, it's not even that great and your dyno reads high
  6. FAIL! This will be half your issue... Run it from the compressor cover or the cooler piping BEFORE the intercooler
  7. As if a GT3582R is ever going to surge Gate sounds mint as mentioned at powercruise... Well loud!
  8. Russman how are you going for rear traction? I went for a track night last Thursday and had nothing... My car was over steering and wheel spinning with any hint of throttle when not in a straight line. Has rear camber at 0.75 and toe 1mm in each side!
  9. I'll try and remember to measure tonight when I get home... I can tell you it's massive compared with a 3076R and more like a 0.7 3082R (if not a little bigger) What actually do you want me to measure? UPDATE on my turbo: Did another track night last thursday night, revved to 7500rpm all night on 20psi... Engine and turbo still loving it
  10. Option 1 is the only one that is going to come close to being inside your budget...
  11. He has an external gate venting to atmosphere... Don't you have an internal gate? Totally different ball game when it comes to exhaust flow
  12. *Most people who don't live in the only state with a one intake mod law Also who needs power in Victoria, it's always raining... Everything feels like 1000hp in the rain
  13. Yeah I know hard pipes are not needed but I would say most people who are doing turbo upgrades do them
  14. Thumbs up for putting in the effort to get the numbers down! I priced the single last night at $3900 using a GT3076R, Tial 44mm and 6boost set up (you are getting ripped off on the front/dump pipe and the gate haha)... If you wanted even cheaper you could go a Kinugawa T67 and save another $1000 on that. Labour to install a single should be a little cheaper as well which may be a factor depending on if it's DIY or workshop My point is that a lot of people think that singles are a lot more expensive than twins but if you look at it there isn't really that much in it. When you factor in all new parts (no second hand stuff) plus hard piping kits for the twins they actually come out a lot more expensive
  15. The blue S15? Funnily enough one of my best mates... Plus all the piping was done by Clint Brown the one who built Panik haha
  16. Video does not do that car justice, sounds nothing like any other RB... Was nicknamed chainsaw
  17. Panik hands down for me, best sounding RB I have ever heard
  18. I would be going a 3076R for 300rwkw and you would only need 19psi They are so much better than a GT35R! Plus I think you will find the cost comparison would be fairly similar, how much do you think it would cost from filter to cat to get the twins going? Checking my last graph I'm at around 270rwkw at 4500rpm with 500cc less that you
  19. At 4500 the -7's are making around 210hp (157kw) and the GT35R is making around 320hp (239kw), so it's actually more like 82kw. No idea about boost vs RPM, it's snozzle's graph so maybe ask him
  20. Your "decent" -7 set up is making 25rwkw more at 4500rpm that the one that "wasn't running properly". Funnily enough the GT35R makes 74rwkw more at the same rpm...
  21. Even better (I didn't realize he had the car on a dyno dynamics with the -7 set up)... 164rwkw @ 4500rpm 205rwkw @ 4500rpm From other graphs on dyno dynamics his set up does look down by 40odd rwkw at 4500rpm but that still does not cover the 100hp it has improved with the 35R
  22. It's not misleading at all, if you look at ANY result on the ALLSTAR dyno they are always down on midrange compared to most other dynos... For instance my car only makes 127rwkw at 4000rpm on the Allstar dyno but 196rwkw at the same rpm on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. That was on the same tank of fuel with about 50km driving between the 2 dynos! Another RB25 neo makes 135rwkw at 4000rpm on the Allstar dyno but 220rwkw at the same rpm on a Dyno Dynamics dyno... Then we could compare my set up to batterys, both same motor, same fuel, same turbo, same manifold, same gate... Same top end power on the same boost on the same type on dyno. Plus same boost response and build up on the road. His makes 200rwkw at 4000rpm (funnily enough almost exactly the same as mine on a dyno dynamics) and mine makes 127rwkw... Take from it what you will, I have no idea why it is like that but every single result I see off the Allstar dyno appears to have shit mid range compared with other dynos which explains most of the "100rwkw down @ 4500rpm"
  23. Just to throw a spanner in the works for low mounts, here is a direct comparison between a -7 set up and a GT3582R on 6boost manifold I dislike 35R's because they are so lazy but even a lazy single appears to kill the low mounts everywhere
  24. Just saw your graph in the RB26 upgrade thread... What diff ratio do you have?
  25. Yeah that was me... Don't remember seeing your car?!? Did we have runs? Well I have sold 2 32's in the past but I'm keeping this one haha
