  5. import bikes.. guess that falls under automotive... sorta....
  6. Thanks for the comments guys. The writing is ripped straight from the original comics, just resized, colour changes and a bit of distortion and transformation. same with the wheel, I just cut and distorted it to look like it was in oposite lock. Then added a zoom (blur) effect to the background, greyscaled the image and used a poster edge effect to give it that cartoon look.
  7. Oh well, I guess it is the ignition coil as it just died so a new one has to go in anyway.... I'll find out tomorrow if it's fixed the eratic behaviour of the tachometer.
  8. Here is a R34 GTR... with just a bit of ps to clean up the pic.... and here is the good ol' KP...
  9. Hi guys, just wanna run it by anyone who might know, just before i go forking out for parts. For the last two days when I start up the car, the tacho starts behaving erratically and jumping all over the place, well up into the 7k territory, although the engine is revving normally at around 1k rpm. It only does this for a short while, whilst the car is still cold, and once the temp rises it goes back to normal. I'm thinking its the ignition coil that might need replacing, just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing, so if anyone has suggestions/thoughts/ideas, please let me know. Thanks Achilles
  10. HAHA that friend group shit was funny.... very very wierd but funny. did I mention it was very wierd..... still cracked me up though....
  11. go the Dato I say! seriously though, easy to work on cheap insurance and proven easy upgades, cant go wrong... i want one! and with the rest, life is full of sacrifices, but you should only make them if you really want what your after (the girl). So I say as long as your happy, then the redecorations and shit are nothing in comparison to happiness. And congrats on the cool life change.

  15. The 2nd shot is the best by far, the 1st shot the roof and back of the car is a tad too dark imo. In the Last shot the lighting is a bit wierd but I still think it work pretty well.. The colours are amazing and as per usual your shots are very clear and well composed. Awsome job wilch.

  18. Good start dude. Like PVA said practice makes perfect. Just some constructive criticism; Although I understand your choice in colour, you need to pick something a tad bit more pleasing to the eye. It's a little painful reading some of the text sometimes as the yellow or red background can be a tad harsh on the eyes. The English, well no need to tell you that it needs work, and it's good that you are learning, you'll get here eventually. Now, the stories. Well at least it's good that you are picking topics you are interested in, but remember, a good journalist brings the stories people want to hear. Be it mass media or "truth" media. Look for more stories... and ones people really get into. As much as I got a laugh out of the van story, you need something a tad more riveting and controversial. As I said, it's constructive criticism, do what you will with it. Keep it up and eventually you'll get there.
  19. Geez thats gotta be older than a model-T j/ks..... nice car dude, although some of us here might poke a bit of fun at VL drivers from time to time, there is no real animosity. Plus it has a heart of a nissan There are plenty of VL guys and gals here, welcome aboard.
