  1. Hi all, I just installed a second hand blitz return flow fmic and a greddy profec b spec II electronic boost controller. Once starting the car up I realised that there was no boost. With the ebc on and off there was no rise in boost pressure according to the stock 34 gtt boost gauge so that's lead me to believe that maybe there's something wrong with my front mount? I'll get some pics of it all and draw up some diagrams but if anyone has a clue about what's wrong and could help out it will be GREATLY appreciated
  2. Cheers mate, great advice ! Well I just got a service and put in the new oil and new filter and track days next week so I should be fine but for the next one I'll definitely do that
  3. Yeah I know but I have <2 weeks to do all this stuff to my car for the track day and adding an oil cooler isn't an option right now, but when I get the time I definitely will. And thanks for the suggestions guys. I was looking at the penrite 10w-50 oil before and I think I'll go with it for now until I get an oil cooler, then maybe I'll go for a 10w-40 oil or stick with the penrite depending on how it goes. Once again much appreciation for all the continuous help here !

  5. Also before anyone says search the forums I've seen lots of stuff on what brand of oil people use but not too much on the viscosity, but if someone finds a forum discussing this my apologies and could you please link me !
  6. Hi all, I own an r34 gtt and am looking for an oil to use to suit daily driving and the odd track day. I live in Perth so it doesn't get that cold over here as well. If anyone could recommend what combination would be best ie 10w-50, 5w-40 etc it would be greatly appreciated ! Attached is some oils Supercheap sell. Any recommendations on what one to buy would also be great Thanks in advance

  8. Sorry I didn't word my post correct. I mean I'll get the bigger set up now for when I get sick of 98. And yeah it would be dumb as to get the smaller one if I want to upgrade later not only for the cost of everything, but for the work to change everything as well
  9. 98 was $1.10 a litre for me with my Coles card and receipt the other day so with the cheap price I'm in no rush to swap. Also the only place that sells e85 in Perth is united and they only have 5 stores and 3 of them are out in f**king whoop whoop and the closest one to me is a half hour drive through the bush. So it definitely is not practical at all
  10. Yeah thanks, I was originally thinking e85 but with these cheap petrol prices and because there's only 5 places to buy e85 in the Perth region I'm thinking no for now. But definitely will get the bigger set up for when I inevitably want more power again haha
  11. Thanks guys, any brand on fuel pumps you recommend? Just walbro ? Also anyone know roughly how much the injectors will cost and will it be a straight plug in or will it need any work ? And I'll message scotty now and ask him as well

  13. Hi all, I have an auto r34 GTT running on 98 and am thinking about getting my turbo highflowed by hypergear. Just wondering what injectors would suit this application without being overkill and what fuel pump as well. Also here's a list of the current mods, anything that should be changed/added ? Blitz return flow fmic 3" turbo back exhaust with de cat Trans cooler Split fire coil pack Ngk irridium plugs gapped at 1.1 (think I need to decrease the gap, yeah?) Greddy B spec II ebs Z32 afm Apexi pod Nistune Will also be getting a metal induction pipe Any help would be greatly appreciated

  17. Yeah mate that's what I need help with aha. I know green and yellows one or the other but I'm not sure on red and black as some components have fuses and if I tap into the wrong ones I could blow some fuse and don't want to be changing them. Any idea what ports I can tap into for power and ground ??
  18. Yeah I'll probably only use it for 2-3 runs and maybe to chuck up a vid on YouTube for everyone then disconnect it but for now I'm just looking to put it in knowing fully well of what could happen
  19. Covers the turbo for $1200 and engine block and all internals for like 2-3 k ? Something roughly. It's a $600 warranty a got for free when I bought the car and it's only done 120k's so I doubt anything will go wrong with it unless I do something. So may as well make the most of it ahah
  20. Got a manual box in the shed but won't be able to install it for a month or so. Want to test this thing out in the auto box and ecu first so if something does f**k up either a) uninstall and use warranty b) fix it while I'm doing tranny Would appreciate help with this and not just messaging to try and dis this thread
  21. I'm just after which crank angle sensor wire and power wire to use from the ecu. And i got quoted $880 for a nistune install + tune and don't have the money and would rather get that done once more modifications are made like afm, injectors and turbo.

  23. Yeah mate I know about the warranty that's why I wrote do a sneaky uninstall if something does happen aha. But I'm not going to be smashing the limiter all day for flames etc so the only thing I'm worried about is the ceramic wheel on my turbo. But if it does go I'm not too fussed as I'd like it high flowed some time and that would give me more of a reason too
  24. Oh alright thank you. Well the revlimiter has a 6500 rpm setting I could set it too for road use which will shut off ignition before the stock ecu shuts off the fuel. Also cheers for the info as I was planning on setting it to 7000 rpm. Also if you guys know how many rpm should it be set to for launch control without getting too much wheelspin ? I'm thinking between 3000-3500 ?
