  1. im in for a group buy. i need the soft seals for both the body and door on both sides plus the hard seals on the body both sides. they work but look crap. im too fussy to leave 'em!
  2. the brakes on my r32 gtr squeal like a bitch too... i gotta get new pad on. all 4 rotors are stuffed though so i need to replace them as well....
  3. i might go for a cruise with the boys up to qland in summer so ill have a few beers! too many leds poped into my head for now so im not gonna bother with it. jaycar sell replacement indicator bulbs that r made outta leds anyways. easy swap if mine ever blow. im gonna grab a 3000mcd tomorrow so ill let u all know what the deal is
  4. any reason for tein? theres a few companies that will fit dampeners for u. professional job and the right strength will be applied. could even work out cheaper having them fitted usin no name 1s then payin for a brand name
  5. good luck tonight cowie165! let me know how it goes. after ive sorted out the leds in the climate control, ill have a go at my dash and surrounds. im waiting on my white 320 km nismo dash from japan before i think about the led replacement. see how standard globes look 1st. might change the surrounds of the dash to leds but. they dont even light up at all. does anyone know what size they are? changed to led? do u know what mcd strength would be best for it? the 1000mcd in the climate control seam dull apart from that bright bastard down the bottom.... im goin back to jaycar for stronger suckas monday! i just thought about changing the indicators in the back with a circuit board full of leds! ive gone MAD! anybody attempted this before? sorry for getting off track here..
  6. if u got probs with only some of them lighting up, try turning them around the other way. (swap the pos+ with neg-) from lookin at the pic of urs, some resistors are on 1 side and 1 the other way. they all need to face the same way. the top 1s need to face the opposite of the bottom. thats what i had anyways they must all complete a circuit cos if 1 isnt facing they right way, they all go out. like a christmas tree! yes its in a 32 gtr. i got all of the lights the same strength and colour all at the same time from jaycar. they cost sweet fa so i grabbed them all in 1 hit. didnt get them tested though cos they were flat out... i wasnt expecting to get 2 different shades either...... mine look EXACTLY the same as urs. resistors sticking straight backwards from the led. i have already sanded the suckas to try to spead out the light but didnt flatten the top off. ill give that a go. im gonna get a stronger led monday to replace 1 of the darker 1s and to see if i can get the light more even up that end. ill have to let ya know what happens!
  7. i thought getting rid of the burnt out dull globes in my climate control would be a great starting point. everyone here gave me some great ideas! grabed some blue 1000mcd 3 mm leds from jaycar for the job along with the right resistors. it took me a few hrs to get it done completely. heres the crappy bit.... cos the bottom right led is almost directly behind the bottom right switch, (recirculate i think) it stands out A LOT brighter then all of the others. plus, 2 of the suckas are a different shade of blue. kinda makes u think, why the @#$% didnt i try them out before fitting them? just thought id let ya's know

  12. hey everyone. ive been looking for a new dash for my 32gtr for a few days now. i wanna get a 320km/h speedo. my current speedo is a bit stuffed. could anybody point me in the right direction of finding 1?
  13. i love the look of the te37s. i do realise that ill be lookin close to 10k... i reckon that id be better off with 17" just cos of the price and driveability factor. it will be used on tack days when i get the time / cash flow but its also my daily driver. which brands would ppl recommend? if i got something like brembo, would i be paying for the name? i want high quality but im not keen on paying for just a name.

  15. hey everyone. im looking at upgrading my whole braking system soon. i need to know the minimum clearance thats needed between the rim and the calipers is. i have the standard 16" gtr rims at the mo but im prolly gonna upgrade them at the same time. im looking at some serious power output on this car when i finish with it so im gonna need good stoppin power. what braking systems would ppl recomend? what size rotors and also what size rims will i need for the rotors and calipers to fit?? do i go for 6 pot or good quality 4's? theres just too many for me to choose from!! everyones help is appreciated!
  16. hey guys. it looks like i might hafta replace my radiator in my 32gtr. the whole cooling system is full of rust from japan. at the moment the car is stock. i wanna get all the basics fixed up before i up the power! ill be looking at track days, sprints etc in the future. i havent thought about how much power i want yet. possibily around 300 awkw. anybody recommend a good after market raditaor or is it best to stick with a genuine?? whats gonna be best for cooling in the long run?
  17. totally agree with this. its ur car so who gives a stuff what other ppl think of it. im happy with my 32 gtr being stock lookin even thou lotsa ppl tell me i should get bigger front bar rear bar skirts wide body blah blah. i like the original kit. u like the bar, buy it!
  18. i agree with everyone. stuff the ks, dont worry bout that s@#t. if your serious about buyin it, have a decent inspection done on it. compression tests can be done 2 ways. (from what i know. i could be wrong) an electronic 1 and a proper 1 where they will test each cylinder sererately. dunno about the price though sorry. a good inspection from RACV is round $215 to $300. cheaper if u r a member or know somebody that is a member of RACV. any mechanic can do compression tests. make sure u find out if the belts have been replaced. they should be done every 100,000ks. there is usually a sticker in the engine bay somewhere stating that they have been changed. if not, change them just to be on the safe side. My 32gtr is still running on the original belts and its at 144,000ks. (changin them tuesday) always a good idea to change stuff like diff oil gear box etc. so if u wanna look at buyin this car, think how much extra its gonna cost u to get a complete service ture etc. its not cheap. your would be cheaper then mine thou!
  19. finally bought my dream car a week n a bit ago now. stock standard apart from after market shocks and a timer. i noticed a fluid leak at the front end around the axle somewhere last nite. so far its been at tint a car for 4 hrs and theres around 1/2 a litre sittin on the floor!!! WTFS goin on?? its an 89 model. stock standard. the fluid is reddish yellow in colour. not sticky at all. very thin. its dripping from the drivers side toward the middle of the axle/gearbox/clutch. sorry i cant be much more discriptive. cant really see well til its on a hoist. has this happened to anybody?!?!? can anyone give me any info at all? cheers. Hey guys. i just got hold of my r32gtr finally. ive been looking for a quality 1 for a good 2 years now and finally grabbed 1 that got my interest. ive got some spare cash that i wanna use in gettin a DAMN good alarm/immoblilzer. can anybody recommend a good brand/good quality 1? lookin for a turbo timer feature, possibly auto shutting windows and keyless entry. (im lazy! ) does anybody know of a good joint where i could pick up 1 and get it installed? anywhere from springvale area towards warrigul. everybodies help and/or suggestions appriciated.
  23. what do u guys thinks better for power/performance? single pod, twin pods or a huge cold air intake? higher air flow with pods then flat filter yea? ive been told that cos the pods are so close to the turbos, that theyd suck in hotter air then a cold air intake would. whats the deal? whats betta??
  24. apparently, for drifting, you enter the corner at high speed, turn into it, brake for a bit of arseend slidage, the 4wd turns off cos the wheels past 90 degree. when u approach the corner exit, straighten the wheel up and boot it. wheels straight so the 4wd kicks in and pull u outta the slide. sounds all good in theory but i like keepin the back end in line with the front. dont wanna dint the car!
  25. i heard from a bloke today that after turnin the wheel more then 90 degrees the 4wd in gtrs/gts4 turns off. anyone heard of this?? whats the deal?
