i reckon if u had to make the choice between a pod or a fmic, go the cooler. see what GTRgeoff has in his writeup on airboxes and get a good panel filter. My 2c
oh and geoff, that lock bar, good stuff mate. i love it! easy as to fit
redline lightweight shockproof. top stuff. mate has a new box and it runs great in it and it also runs beautifully in my GTR. id reccomend it for anyone
theres quite a few posts out there on sau that has covered this already.
1st thing id suggest is fix up the intake and exhaust. pod, dump pipe and a good exhaust will give u a better flow and way less restriction. it will open the motor up a lot more. bov shouldnt really be needed straight away til more boost is added
i really got p1ssed off when i took the 4wd into the city and got told to get off the roads just cos its a 4wd. felt like running up their ass with my steel bullbar! yet did they notice the dirty big dint that was in the middle of it? a bloody tree in the middle of toorak jumped out in front of me i swear! (i got a massive gum with that bar up the back of gembrook state. damn red slippery mud ) that 4bee went bush every weekend.
i can understand why ppl crack it about them. hell i do. but i only crack it when the driver clearly CANT DRIVE. i see nothing wrong with people using them to tow boats or caravans. nothing against tradies using them for work purposes either.
Kozeyekan i feel for ya brother. i was lucky that the bloke that bought the rodeo still takes it bush. good to see my hard earned on the lift kit, bar, winch etc didnt go to waste.
id agree with this. its good in places but a hinderance in others. because im looking at handling and performance due to wanting to see a lot of track days, mine is getting removed. i already have a lock bar. just need to time to fit it and remove all the plumbing etc. (weight saving of around 20kgs)
the rear end is still adjustable after its been removed anyways.
i have seen chips on windscreens that have been filled before but i believe some are not possible to fix. it depends on the size depth etc. best to ask a windscreen company. Good luck
damn man that sucks.... hope u dont have too many probs with ur back/neck. maybe get urself checked out by a doc or physio. u dont wanna end up with my back probs
cars are replacable. just as long as ur alright!
yea ive got that jack bracket in the rear panel. its securely fixed. ive driven around with the inside of the back of my car completely gutted including the parcel shelf. still hear this damn rattle! im leaning toward maybe the suspention setup?? its still the stock stuff so...
i got the same year car with the same problem. if the oil press. light comes on, kill the motor straight away. alls my problem is is the pressure switch that bolts onto the side of the oil filter assembly (stock oil cooler) $10 to $20 for a 2nd hand pressure switch from a wreckers or get a new 1. not that hard a job to replace if u can access a hoist but its a bitch to get to. my oil press. gauge sits just above 1... oil pressure has been tested and its fine.
still, a new oil pump is always a good idea considering the age of the car
maybe an aftermarket pressure gauge and switch is a good idea.
good luck
sounds like good fun. gfinal weekend huh? football sucks so im not gonna watch that crap. pretty sure im flat out that weekend... if not, ill come for a sight see! PI is an awesome drive from pakky anyways
my stickers sucked! took a while to get them on. washed windows with the glass cleaner stuff. got the stickers onto the transfer sheet by sitting at the table with a rasor blade and slowly lifting the stickers off. didnt destroy 1. even the dot on the i came off.
anyone attempt this, i take no responsability for u slicin ur fingers off.
cyas tomorroz
i havnt tried the seatbelts yet. thanks for the suggestion. ive had the rear seats out and the panel between the boot and the cab out and the noise is still in there. it actually became louder. this is why i reckon its gotta be coming from the boot somewhere.
does anybody agree that its the module for the rear demister in the left hand rear quarter panel?
