  1. If the idle hunts, like it is looking to settle and 1000 or 800 rpms, it's the injectors. As I can't hear the sound you added to YouTube. A tuner can fix the issue. What state are you in?
  2. Of you are looking at stage 1 upgrade, go for the following. 1. Power FC so it can be tuned properly. Or Go for a Heltec if you want to run E85 and or 98. 2. 3 -3.5 inch exhaust with a sports cat. 3. HKS air intake. This is a good start then afterwards upgrage all the bolt on upgrades.

  4. Firstly what is your budget for the upgrades including the tune? What ecu will you use? Are you planning just 98, E85 or both? Top end only or both? Etc.

  7. Hi. I have upgrade the top end of the car and producing approx 385 age on E85. The following mods I made on the car were? Existing mods: 3.5 inch exhaust plus sports cat Air intake Boost controller New mods to the above: -9's Dump pipes Cams Cam shaft Heltech ECU 1150 BOSCH injectors Depending on what you want to use the car for, there will be lag in the turbos. Hence you need to make othe mods to ensure less lag. If I had the time again -5's better for the track. But having 385 on E85 and 315 on 98 is amazing power. You will never use that power unless you are at the track. Everyone has an opinion about turbos unless you have installed them in the car people go off hear say. Dash -7 or dash -9's is sufficient for the road.
  8. I have a GTR R33 and have endured the AC unit being cold on 18degrees only. Once the temp is set to 19 degrees it's like it is set on 30degrees. Can anyone assist on how to change the sensor to make this work correctly? I have seen many threads how to test it but nothing on how to change the censor Your assistance would be appreciated.
  9. Power fc is for sale. It was removed from a GTR R33, as the ECU was upgraded. The units works perfectly and will suit an GTR R32. It is in excellent condition. Selling the unit for $550 pick up or can post at an additional cost. Ringwood Melbourne area. PM me or call me on 0417 102 310

  11. Spoke to my tuner at Chasers and has advised to go with the -7's. More response and can tune to give top end as well. I have opted for the -7's. Let's see how it goes...
  12. What made you go with the -7 and not -5's?
  13. Looking at the specs on the intercooler on the GTR R33's is rated up to 450kw? Would you still change them?

  15. R32-25t, my concern with e85 is the availability of petrol stations around. Are you from melb and if so have you found it difficult for filling up for weekend drives? Originally I opted for the -7, from what you have mentioned may relook at the -7's.

  17. The fuel will be premium fuel (98). Boost level is unsure of at the moment. If possible 1.5 bar. I've looked through forums but most talk about kw at the wheels. Not to concerned on that. I expect to produce somewhere between 300-350 kw at all wheels. Current set up is producing 240kw at the wheels. I just want to ensure the right turbo is use for and not too much lag. If full boost is around 3500rpms this would be fine.
  18. I have a Gtr r33 and looking to install the Garrett-5's. Installed already is the air intake and 3inch exhaust with a sports cat. What I will be installing with the turbos are: 1125cc Bosch injectors, tomei cams and camshaft, tomei dump pipes. My question is what the max spool on these turbos with the mentioned mods? (What RMP when full boost kicks in?) What I would like to know if anyone has installed these on their Gtr r33 and their thoughts on this? Wanting to use this on the street and track... Thanks.
