  1. Original paint and is clean as a whistle.
  2. https://goo.gl/images/GxkRcN Carbon fibre dipped door trim.
  3. I have done that in the past. Not many people where interested.
  4. Just wanted to know if anyone knows of any cruise days coming up? As we are slowly approaching summer and the weather is becoming a lot better would like to take the car for a drive around. I have a few mates that we do fortnightly or monthly cruises to king lake, ocean Grove etc, but would like to do this with other members of the GTR world. [emoji106]
  5. As for the steering wheel, I got this one off eBay. I was originally doing to get the steering done by ultimate auto trim. They do that as well and what every style and design you like. However I found this on eBay and so I have the original steering wheel for the car. The original steering wheel is immaculate, so I would have been a shame to dedicate it. [emoji41] Jump onto their website or eBay and it shows what they have done so far.
  6. If you don't want the carbon fibre look, you can dip it in a Matt or gloss finish. You can wrap it in whatever style you choose. Give the guy a buzz and will lead you in the right direction. [emoji106]
  7. That isn't the case. The surfaces are dipped and a clear is.dprayed over the top. They dip wheels and anything that is possible. If wheels can be dipped and driven without flaking so can most surfaces. Ring this guys and he will tell you of it will work. People will give opinions on something they dont know much about.
  8. Chasers are pretty good. If you want someone who just deals with GTRs especially r33's it will be worth the drive to go to race pace. I've been to a few places and race pace hands done shits all over the other guys. I retuned my car there and they got an additional 30kw at the wheels with less boost. It's running 370kw at the wheels now.
  9. This was done a couple of years ago now and no issues...
  10. http://melbournehydrographixdepot.com.au/ This is the place I did the carbon fibre dipping. [emoji106]
  11. You can redo the steering wheel. There are upholstery company's that redo them. https://www.ultimateautotrim.com can do it if you are in Victoria.
  12. There is a place in Ringwood that fixed that issue. For $120 they change and fix the cluster. They are on Maroondah hwy near the east link.
  13. Get them custom made. Pick colour, style and logo if needed. https://www.ultimateautotrim.com
  14. You can get new seat covers made. They will make it to suit the new seat and they stitch it into the existing seat so they won't move. Just got mine done, however I'm in Melbourne. The ones you posted from the website is a cover. You need to dismantle the seat and insert the cover on each section of the seat. The one RoboCop sent the link through will custom make the covers and will do the same. Dismantle stitch into the existing seat so it doesn't move.
  15. You can get carbon fibre dipping done. I have done it to the dash on the car. It looks friggin awesome. The guy is in Ferntree fully and can get his details if you need it. Don't wrap it it will peel over time.
  16. Take the car to Montrose Panels in Lilydale. Ask for John to respray it. He is a gun a matching the paint colour. He did my front and rear bars and matched the paint to perfection. PM me for more details as he may do it on the side.
  17. I contemplated getting the same ones. They are not leather and are black. You can get the same as the ones pictured for less with this guy. You can design and colour code it which ever way you like. Up to you. I extremely happy with the design and colour scheme of the covers. [emoji106]
  18. Will post more pics once the car out of the garage.
  19. The covers front and rear was $1200. You can fit them yourself or if you get them fitted it is $550.00
  20. I have a GTR R33 V Spec and it is in immaculate condition. To preserve the seats in the car I have always seen trim ultimate auto trim on eBay. After several month in talking to Julian, by the way an absolute gentleman and extremely patient man, I decided to do it. If anyone is contemplating these covers, do it. I was a little sceptical and when I saw the result, OMFG. The covers have been fitted like it came out of the factory and fits like a glove. I got mine in black and grey with the Nismo logo embroidered onto the cover. He is based in Narre Warren and he has heaps of photos on his website. At first I thought they were photos of exiting seats, but not at all they are what he has done. His number is 0423 823 879. There are once from Japan Nismo ones for more, but they are made in bulk not to the seat itself. It has made the interior of the car look amazing. Will post picks of the covers shortly.
  21. The best thing to do is talk to a place that deals with GTR's they can advise on costs and what you should do with a budget. If you are in Melbourne, go to Race pace in Bayswater.
  22. Ultimately it comes done to the amount of$$$ you can afford. Forged pistons are around 8k. Turbos if you want twin still 3k. Injectors with fuel rail 1k. 1150cc Brakes for that amount of power 6k Clutch 3-4k New wheels to suit brakes depends on style is around 3k with tyres Work on the head of the engine 3k Hising etc. Varies Then the install costs.
  23. Ring Vic roads, as they can tell you if it has been registered and complianced. If they have it registered it means it has been complianced in Victoria. Do some research is the best advise.
