  1. I was talking specifically about the time and effort put into the photographs. I'm pretty sure it wasn't him that set the car up with the backdrop and studio lighting, etc. There's a lot of time spent getting photos like that to look right.
  2. The advice I was given reagrding 98RON fuels, was that V-Power is actually one of the lowest quality ones available. BP's Ultimate, Caltex's Vortex 98 and even the Mobil 8000 were all ranked better by my previous mecahnic? I say previous because he doesn't service the Skyline, only my Mini Cooper (which is now sold). He was referring specifically to using the fuel in the Mini, but that shouldn't really impact on his opinion of the fuel in general. He's someone who's opinion I hold in quite high regard and I do trust, but it does conflict with what I've heard other people saying? Anyone got any input on this?

    Your Job

This is an online forum, don't forget. As for me, I work in the (dying) music industry for an Aussie independant record label.

Haha. Sounds like a great idea. I hope you can stick with it to actually make it through a whole year and get the DVD together. I'd be happy to lend a hand, just let me know what needs doing. I'm pretty savvy to the video editing game, if you need help there. Might be fun just to come along and hold up a sign saying 'APPLAUSE' as a cue for the studio/garage audience.
  5. That's an amazing looking R33, mate. The photos are really very well done. You're lucky to have had someone spend the time and effort to get it looking so good.
  6. What are the details on the Hills meet? I'd be in that for sure, being a Hills boy myself.
  7. Another vote for some pics and list of mods. Judging by your avatar it's a real beauty of a 32! Enjoy.
  8. Spotted a silver R33 this morning at about 9am on the Princes Highway in Tempe. Number plates were Ax-xx-xx I think? Also spotted a silver R34 last week on King St in Mascot doing a reverse park into a spot across the road from the school there.
  9. Damn.. Anyone looking for a pair of splits on here should buy these, you won't regret it. I've got the Hertz ESK-165's and I love them. They're the only part of my stereo that I have never upgraded since my first car! If I hadn't just dropped $1500 on the car already today, I would seriously consider the upgrade to these HSK's. Best of luck selling these, mate. This is a great price, guys. Well worth it. You won't find better for the price, that's guaranteed!
  10. What's the condition of the air con setup like? Working? Also, colour and condition of the floor mats? Thanks.
  11. Also interested in the cost for the day? Including the license, if need be. I'm keen to bring my '64 Mini Cooper down for a spin around the track.
  12. Nice video, thanks for the link! There's a couple good ones with Jeremy and an R34 as well.
  13. Any help on this would be great. I'm really curious!
  14. If someone could please do HCR32-275218 that would be great. Cheers.
  15. Correct, vaccuum line was disconnected altogether. The end of the line had perished slightly and split. Simple fix, just cut it a wee bit shorter and put it back on. All is well, now. Thanks for the help.
  16. If someone could please do HCR32-275218 that would be great. Cheers.
  17. That was my assumption, but it's static on 0. Could be faulty, I guess? Or I'm just watching the road when the car is on boost. =/
  18. I've just bought an R32 GTS-T, and I can't work out what the guage above the fuel level is telling me? It's the one that goes from -7 to 0 to +7. It sits constantly on 0 while the car is running. The little turbo looking logo and the key of x100mmHg hasn't helped me work it out. Sorry for the beginner level question, but I'd love to know what it is! Thanks.
  19. So, I'm a big fan of cars, but I don't know much about what to look for when buying one. Basically, I went and looked at a very original R32 GTS-T tonight, and there's a couple of things I wanted to ask about. Firstly, the idle of the car wasn't steady. It was hunting up and down until it warmed up. Apparently it does this at idle after driving the car as well. The owner says there is a mechanism within the throttle body that is responsible. Says he was quoted $100-200 to fix. Secondly, air conditioning doesn't work. He says he's enquired about this as well and the problem is apparently related to the 'clutch fuse' which keeps blowing. This meant nothing to me, that's not something I've ever heard about. He was told roughly $200-300 to fix on this one. Anyone know whether this is the real story? The car was also running rich and in need of a tune, but other than that seemed to be running well. When I go back to inspect again, what do I need to look for in particular? The owner was a nice guy, very upfront about car - which I liked. Potentially the car could be a great purchase if I can get these things sorted out for a reasonable price. Current or previous R32 owner's experiences are welcome! Thanks a lot.
