  1. Saw a silver Stag on Old Northern Rd this morning. Gave a quick wave but he'd passed already. Spotted an R33 in Parramatta tonght, plates were BL-35-ED. Also spotted a few of you down at AutoSalon today. Looking tidy, crew.
  2. Alright, I need some more help with this. I went to give it a go today without taking the shocks out (limited time frame) but there's no way to compress the spring enough to get the seat at the base of the spring to move. So you're right about that. I'm willing to have a go at getting the shocks out, but I need some more info on the process. I'm told that to get the rear shocks out you need to get the back seat forward and remove the parcel shelf or something? This is info coming from Unique AutoSports in Seven Hills. They offered to do it but said it'd be 3-3.5 hours in labour. Can anyone shed some light? Even better, if anyone in Sydney has done this and can help me with it tomorrow morning, that'd be fantastic. Please PM me. Otherwise, some info or pics on the process of removing both front and rear shocks would really really help.
  3. I had a look and it's adjustable. There's an extra groove on both front and back. I'm off to get a spring compressor and give it a go.
  4. Stick with the two-tone idea, it looks awesome. I don't rate it as a fad - two tone has been done for decades!
  5. Thanks, that's helpful. Is it obvious when looking under the car whether the shocks are adjustable before I go and buy a spring compressor and take it all apart? What am I looking for? Just the grooves around the shock? Make sure it's not already adjusted all the way down?
  6. Anyone able to help me with this?
  7. Hi All, I bought my R32 a couple of months back and I've just fitted up some new wheels. I'm keen to get the ride height down by 10-20mm, and I understand that I might be able to do that with the suspension that's already in there. I bought it with Bilstein shock absorbers fitted but still with standard springs, I think. I was going to get new springs but I've been reading about the adjustable circlip on the Bilstein shocks. Do all Bilstein shocks have this adjustable feature? Basically I'm hoping that someone can give me a really basic and step by step guide on what I need to do to move the circlip down a notch or two. Do I need to take the wheel off and pull the suspension apart to be able to get to the adjustable part, or can it be done much easier than that? I'm not even sure which bit I'm looking for. I know this will be an obvious question to some, but I've searched and can't find the answer here or on Google. Would really appreciate some tips. Thanks.
  8. Thanks guys. I love the rims, I think the style is really well suited to the car. The more I look at them the more I like them. The stance is so much better now - especially with the width at the back. It just needs to be lowered a little. Shouldn't be too hard with the Bilstein shocks being adjustable, I just have no idea how to do it yet. As for the exhaust - I'm not sure? It's possible but I'm not sure how to tell. It's a 3" system from the turbo back but the actual muffler could be anything? It was all fitted to the car when I bought it.
  9. If you're in Sydney, go to Tempe Tyres and get some Kumho KU31s. I got mine from there and I'd recommend the tyres and the dealer. They're pretty no nonsense and not all staff there are super friendly but they're good at what they do. I got 255/35/18 on my 18x9.5s on the back for $190 each including fitting and balancing. Then 225/40/18 for the 18x8.5 on the front for $150 fitted. Good prices.
  10. Haha. I'm guessing by the comment about the R35 and the stealthy responses that the SAU guys might have hooked up an appearance by the Donut King R35? Would I be correct in guessing that?
  11. I prefer without - but they can look good on the right car.
  12. Just as a side note, water restrictions are being lifted on washing cars with a hose here in Sydney. Starts from this Saturday.
  13. Any pictures or a link or something?
  14. As people have mentioned already, the S15 with the guy leaning on it and the shot of the tents are both awesome. Very nice, mate.
  15. Yep Access are selling them. There are a few threads in both their trader classified section and the for sale forum for business traders. Check them out, because there are pics in the threads.
  16. Can you please PM me the business name, too? Seeing as you're in Sydney like me, it's probably worth me knowing..

Great photos, mate. I like number 3 with the full length of the roller door. Good effect.
  18. I'd be in for another group buy as well. Please PM me if you arrange another one. Sucks that I missed out on this one!
  19. Took a few quick snaps last night of my car with it's new wheels on. It'd look a whole lot better if the car was clean, as the black and bronze would contrast more. Anyway, you get the idea. And yeah, I know it needs to be lowered a little more. Recommendations for springs? Currently has Bilstein shocks and possibly standard springs? Not too sure. REAR: 18 x 9.5 +35 / 255/35/18 FRONT: 18 x 8.3 +30 / 225/40/18
  20. I saw a white R33 right near there just after 7pm tonight. He was on Carlingford Rd up near Pennant Hills Rd heading towards Epping. I was going the opposite way.
  21. Interested in the GTR wing. When you say that the parts are metallic black, are we talking factory Nissan pearl black metallic? Can you post up a pic for me to check out? Cheers, mate.
  22. A link to the US one that you found would be helpful so that I know what you're looking for.
  23. He did say in the first post that he's got 275s at the back and 245s at the front. Or did you mean what brand?
  24. I think this is something that is common with driving lights, as a mate of mine saw that the driver's side fog light wasn't lit, so he gave the lens a couple of taps and it came on. It still doesn't light when you turn them on, but tapping it again works. What causes this problem? It mustn't be a loose connection. Is the globe on the way out? I also can't work out how to get the lamp out of the front bar on my standard GTS-t Type M R32. Anyone got the tips for that job? Thanks.
