i ran out of brakes at turn one, sandown behind a maserati... not fun - standard Sumitomo GTR calipers and factory (curved vane, drilled) rotors.
turns out I cooked the fluid and the caliper seals were farked.
i still reckon that if you keep all the stock hardware in the best condition it can be in - braided lines, good fluid, good rotors, calipers rebuilt with new seals etc, the performance will be pretty damn good. only then go up to larger calipers / rotors...
