  1. nice work! got one of these Nismo ones sitting on the bench at home. how over-engineered is the Nismo box?? LOL $2 part, $5 box lol
  2. yeah 13 on the manual says: "Fore-and-aft G sensor 1, fore-and-aft G sensor 2" the manual says that if it turns red don't use it... don't think it's rebuildable, just get a second hand green one... if it has had an impact it'll turn red. do you have the manual? if not PM me your email and I'll send the relevant pages for trouble shooting error 13 cheers
  3. something to consider - repairing a seam welded car may be painful? instead of unpicking a few spots, you have to cut the whole panel at the join...
  4. if you can't tell from the guards front and rear, maybe don't get a GTR. it's pretty obvious which is a GTR which is a GTSt in terms of fatness...
  5. on any Nissan ABS part they have "Nissan" cast into the back of the plastic skirt. do yours have any markings? these do not look like any Genuine nissan side skirt.
  6. you know new southies... can't see anything unless they're pink and/or have fast&furious stripes down the side...
  7. Who cares which is "better" get your arse out there and have a blast around the track. slow (me) or fast (roy) it doesn't matter but you get to open the car up. stick to the RB20 and do a bunch of track days. nedi - there are quick an reliable RB20s.
  8. love the japanese una-don!
  9. there's a japanese kit that offsets the std gtr32 sumitomo to a 324 (around that) Supra JZA-80 rotor... will have a look around for it - it's in one of the HyperREV GTR publications
  10. that graph looks familiar, roy.
  11. you freaking brake nerd-alert
  12. hmm this doesn't sound good i am changing from a ORC twin to a Nismo Super Coppermix twin... as ORC is a menace
  13. 1. PSSSHT value 2. CHUCHUCHUCHU-meter 3. +40PSI reading boost meter 4. 8"-12" monster tacho but seriously 1. water temp 2. oil temp 3. oil pressure if you really want another two 4. boost 5. exhaust temp
  14. how about this - you give me your car, i take the calipers off, and measure them. i give you your car back. deal?
  15. yeah - don't be confused - RB20 is much more than the sum of it's parts. interestingly, there are more RB25 and RB26 failures in the engine failure thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=46581
  16. yes but a 355 you may struggle to get under a 17" with good clearance (unless it's a Te37 or similar) furthermore a 36mm rotor takes longer to get the pads up to temp
  17. Jack, who on here is still running just front AP CP5555s? snowflake has rears as far a i know... how do they go at Sandown?
  18. its a total nismo unit - harder bush, not sure if it's actually any shorter
  19. i ran out of brakes at turn one, sandown behind a maserati... not fun - standard Sumitomo GTR calipers and factory (curved vane, drilled) rotors. turns out I cooked the fluid and the caliper seals were farked. i still reckon that if you keep all the stock hardware in the best condition it can be in - braided lines, good fluid, good rotors, calipers rebuilt with new seals etc, the performance will be pretty damn good. only then go up to larger calipers / rotors...
  20. nah fark that what you need is a can of expand-a-foam and his mail box, exhaust pipe, under door handles, etc etc... it's the funniest thing ever!
  21. wish i had the last 30 seconds of my life back.
  22. those two golf carts are plastic fantastic!
  23. Exactly my point Nissan Skylines, nee Datsuns, are SHIT. :laughing-smiley-014:
  24. ok mate, I can't help you understand.
