lowest point on the car has to be above 100mm and your eyebrow height (from center of the wheel to the guard) is the other thing they will check if they are trying to defect you. if you want to know what the minimum height is for eyebrow just call transport SA and they can tell you

also, my engine temp guage goes up really fast when i turn the car on before it sits at operating temperature, like from cold after say 2km it will be at a stable temp on the guage and stay there about 3/4 of the way up, but dosent go above this I was looking at the manual and it says the engine temperature signal can cause idle problems, could a faulty engine temp sensor cause these problems?

im not sure what ECU the car has, i havent looked, i guess its possible

Hey, My 32 GTR always idles at 1100 rpm dosent matter if its just been started and its cold, or if its completley warm, or if aircon is on or off it will only idle at 1100 just wondering if this is normal? i havent touched the idle adjust since ive had the car on the road, which hasnt been long

i wont give you shit like everyone else "seems" to be if you want induction noise your going to HAVE to put pods on. the good news is that in most states one intake mod is allowed, usually either front mount/airpods, but considering GTR's already have a front mount you should be able to change pods without a defect risk. I have taken my car through vehicle inspections in SA twice with pods on. if your really worried you might be risking a defect call the RTA/email them in your state and ask "can i put airpods on my car, lots of other people have them but im not sure if they are illegal?"

i have 17*9 +22 Enkei RP02 on my R32 GTR with 235's on them there are no spacers and look fine, they dont stick out too far and they dont sit too far inwards either

R32 GTR's you can just pull a fuse out and the car will go into RWD and No-ABS mode, my car has missile switch connected to the fuse so i can switch it into rwd/normal whenever i like. R33 and R34 you have remove something, i think its the front driveshaft, before you can run in RWD mode, otherwise it can damage the car.

well, my r32 GTR cost me about 15'000 including compliance and everything else, it should have no trouble running a 12 second 1/4, as many cars with identical mods to my car have run these times, on street tires. my challenge is to you, to show me a holden that costs 15k or under that will out accelerate, outhandle or outbreak my car

the loom is the wiring loom which afaik just means all the wires that go from the ecu to various parts of the engine bay, allthough i think in my case (a freind fixed it) it was to do with the wiring from the airflow meters to the ecu.
