    Wouldn’t you be starting in second for roll racing anyway? cause I was using 1st to 4th in the 5spd and now with the 6spd I’m guessing I’ll be using 2nd to 5th, so itll be the same number of gear changes

    on those black bushes you have the photos of require the top cap to be left out

    When using aftermarket bushes they all require different things to be done with the top caps, some need them removed and some need them reinstalled on top where Nissan put them in the first place, that 3rd photo is just straight out wrong

    I saw the photos on rhd that nismo supplies and copied it, I think the rear would have cleared without it but would have been impossible to fill the transfer. I’ll take a photo when I get home

    Father in law just happened to drop in so I managed to get the box inI’ve got everything bolted in except the rear tail shaft because of the rear end still being out of it, I haven’t fitted the gearstick yet and I still need to bleed the atessa

    The rear main seal was leaking so I replaced it with a genuine oneToday I got the clutch fitted and the release bearing was a little noisey and I replaced it, I also replaced the spigot bush while I was in there

    The power fc will be fine even after this time, the stock ecu will generally cause detonation even at mild modification level in Australia

    Leave it alone cause with your current power fc the car is tuned for the fuel it is using, Nissan tune these to suit the high octane Japanese fuel and engines tend to die over here because of it

    Yesterday I got a call because my suspension parts had arrived so I have entire whiteline catalogue for the rear and the front and rear sway bar kit also from whiteline

    I notice the nismo kit comes with gearoil but I always thought the getrag used atf?

    Last time I was out there I got to the second round of elimination but because the ratios in the 5spd are so bad my starting speed was to low and they were a car to a car and a half in front of me before the start line. I’m hoping the 6spd it will fix that problem and will make me a lot more competitive

    Thanks mate Something else I should mention to make the a little more challenging for myself, I want it all back together and wheel aligned for roll racing on the 13th of April and I’m away for the last week of March and won’t be getting anything done that week

    Sure am and it came out of an r32 so all the plugs and shafts and etc are already sorted, it also came with an ats carbon twin plate

    Bigger is always better when it come to turbo exhuasts,

    You do need to cut some of the bracing for the bonnet to make it close but once it’s closed it looks stock

    I have seen it done under a stock bonnet and no subframe spacers
