  1. no it wasnt, it was after i got my new engine in, which has only been about a month
  2. i need a few parts.. just the few bits between the numberplates, and i should be sorted.
  3. gt51r - possible whiplash, but its hard to see with the scans, so its kind of a wait and see game, however i seem to be doing alot better than most in my situation, which i think is great. ive had that many cars run through my head last night.. but i still have no idea what i will buy... i was going to buy a bike a while back, just lucky i didnt have this crash on a bike, instead of a car... but it will definately be a 4 wheeled vehicle, with a turbo or two. ryan - once i get everything sorted with hospital, insurance, police, etc.. then i may have a few parts for sale.. yes it does suck.. but what can you do? just deal with it and move on!
  4. ive got a blue H10 20gb iriver, charger(us version, but has adaptor), usb cable, docking cradle, and fm transmitter. (all extra's are genuine iriver) $200 and its yours!
  5. i thought you had a 33 gtr, and sold the ceffy? lol i rocked up last time in my 33 gts-t.. and it got written off not long after, so id stay away from these stagea cruises
  6. ...why?
  7. just been up at the emergency ward for another 3 hours, had a CT scan done as the x-rays showed a possible fracture/flake off one of the vertebrae in my neck. scan came up fine, either an artifact on the x-ray, or slight calcification, and the doctors were surprised all i had was a muscle discomfort in the right side of my neck, considering what i had been through. now that im fine, time to sort out the twisted metal!
  8. ive got some slick (read: bald) 275's you can use nathan.
  9. cheers gav, that was the first thing i did after the accident yesterday. went to hospital and was put in a neck brace for 2 hours (as it was over 60km/h), got some xrays, pain killers, and anti-inflamatories. got a call this morning saying that there may be a small bone fragment off one of the 7 vertibrae's in my neck, going to get my xrays done to see whether thats the case, or just an artefact on the xray, as it surprisingly feels alright considering what happened.
  10. yeah.. funny thing that. the tyres on my good rims were getting a bit low, so i changed over to stock rims yesterday morning, thinking id get a yellow sticker or whatever... had absolutely nothing to do with the crash though, i was stationary... and my rims werent covered by insurance due to them being a limited edition.. so there was a very small amount of luck on my side..
  11. thanks guys. as kylie said, not sure how i feel at the moment, i was looking to sell it very shortly, but i didnt plan on getting rid of it this way. would have been nice to see 3 years of hard work, time and money still being driven around, but i guess atleast no-one else can write it off instead. my neck feels better than i thought it would, still a bit sore though. whether i get the option to buy the wreck back, and whether i even want to buy it back, im not sure yet. chances are the next car wont be a 33, so i cant really salvage parts to keep, and im not sure whether i want to hassle of trying to strip it down and flog it off (that said, its only rear end damage, so there is a 2000km old engine and turbo sitting in there )
  12. thanks for that vital post dan cheers guys... the commodore driver claims to have insurancd, but im insured anyway... few more pics from the scene of the crash..
  13. I'm fine... Mitchy was bringing me lunch happened at the end of my street at work The guy took off straight after details were exchanged, my bet is he had been drinking!! All Mitchy's hard work and time in that darn motor is now down the drain
  14. yeah.. was pretty hard hit. i was sitting on hamilton rd, waiting to turn right into ocean rd, then i hear screaching brakes and see a white commodore sliding towards me, no time to move, bang! witness said he overtook her a bout 500metres back doing 100+ almost hitting oncoming cars, then saw him fly into my back end at ~80km/h....
  15. i discovered today that the front end of commodores, and the rear end of skylines don't mix well.
  16. im 99% sure the guards are whats different, headlights are fine (assuming you have a S1)
  17. dans house is haunted by lightbulbs that appear out of no where. we're in.
  18. as sydneykid said, they need to be lengthened a tad, but the rest of it fits fine. im 99% sure even just adding a bit in between the cat and the cat back will be suffice, but how sydneykid did it is probably a more snug fit.
  19. hahaha.. those things are gold. buy my exhaust dale, it sounds perdy i just hate cannons
  20. all this talk of jap brand exhausts needing mufflers, etc. being cut out makes me wonder why people still buy them? i'll stick to kermit spec exhausts.
  21. anyone? i'll even consider fibreglass/carbon fibre bonnets if the price is right.
  22. name brand exhaust.. lol, who is going to know if you have a trust/hks exhaust, or some no name brand? ive got a 'no name brand' exhaust, and i get that many comments that it makes a lovely growling note, people want to know what it is.

    Rims

depends on offset, and tyre width aswell. i have 17x9" rear, 17x8" front the fronts sit in the guard a little bit with 235's on them and the rears sat perfectly in the guards with 255's, but get a tiny bit of scraping on the guards with the current 275's on them.
  24. i know my horn only has 1 wire going to it, pretty sure the steering wheel only has the one wire coming off it to. try swapping the wire to the other terminal and see if that works.. if not, try the fuse as suggested before, or even try another horn! or... get your bf to do it for you
