Doin mine this Sat mate, will let you know how I go
I'm doing all seals, all belts including cam, water pump (becuase it's east to get to when doign the cam belt), O2 sensor (why not while I'm at it), all fluids, plugs etc...
Hi, I think you'll find that it's not acceptable to have a plate fitted. I know it's not under SEVS although my old car through RAWS had a plate fitted so it will depend on when it came in. Just so your aware, if you'r trying to sell it and it has to be looked at at Vic Roads or something like that it may cause problems. My new car was engraved neatly, it's the best way to go just make sure you seal it to prevent rust. Cheers.
I'm running around 200k/w at the wheels with the usuall mods and I'm using a Bosch 975, its' internal and not toooo loud. It's fine for 200-250 at least I considered an 044 but couldn't justify it plus it's a lot more expensive to setup.
Series II R33 After owning one I've gotta say that the overall look of the car is much nicer than the series I. Being a later model towards the end of the series you know they got everything right. If your after anyone to come and look let me know, cheers!
I also have the 3" Fujitsubo Legalis R - Type Evolution exhaust. It's VERY good, looks nice, got a tiny bit of sound and make good power when compared to the Power Getter on a graph. People ask me if the car is running at idle.
Hey Freddy, Adz here, we met at the Autosalon do for the Formula 1. Anyhoo I've seen some nice chin spoilers for the R34 GT-T from East Bear. Do you do anything similar or for that matter anythign for the GT-T? Cheers mate.
Well I sucked but I still had a blast, was heaps of fun and the 2 free drinks while playing was great. It's a good setup for those who have never played like me. I'll be giving it another go. Thanks for putting this on Leewang! Cheers!
I work in Frankston and am up for a cruise most of the time. Sad thing is you just missed a nice cruise with SAU Vic to Portsea for dinner and then to the 3 Drive In for a movie....
Yeah mine was an old 202, a 1979 VB. Was pretty slow compared to cars these days but at least I learned what I was doing. Plus it looked nice so thats a plus. There is plenty of time for speed and with age comes more $ which brings nicer cars and more speed
I think that removing big power cars is a good idea for P's but a blanket ban on "turbo" cars is bull sh|t. What about smarts, less than 1000cc but they are turbo!
When your on your P's your there for a reason, to learn. Your much safer in a < 2.5ltr car in my opinion and there is plenty of time for nice cars. P platers will argue till they are black and blue in the face that it doesn't matter about the power but who are you trying to fool? We have all BEEN there and done it before you
Slower cars and more training for P's are needed...
