  1. Yeah they are the ones I had at Eastern creek, still have them but for track days only... The offset is +15, too big for an evo...
  2. Shane - thanks mate... dezz - I'm assuming u liked the bonnet unpainted?? It stood out too much and didn't want the attention.... The car looks more suttle now, trying to make it look standardish.....

I think this will be my last set... ferni - yeah, couldn't resist in going the 'z tune' look.... dezz - no, ookami's are 18x9.5, mine are 18x10.5 and used to be bronze.... everybody else - thanks for the compliments!!!!

  9. Yeah your right, although at 160km/h the 2560R's are making more power.... BOOSTD, if the 2530's were a little laggy for your liking, I can assure you you will like the response of the 2860R's.... Either way, they are much more responsive than T517Z's.... Bush bearing versus dual ball bearing....
  10. BOOSTD, thats very interesting, the 2530's are very similar to the 2860R's, looks like the 2860R's still have more down low till about 178km/h, the 2530's have more top end.. I have the same cams, same pistons, standard valves, standard manifolds, trust intercooler (76mm thick), 3.5'' HKS Hiper exhaust, same pods, but both were done at 20psi boost. Not sure on AFR, as graph has power and boost level.... Can't wait to see how you go with the 2860R's.... Also don't forget each dyno is different, and mine wasn't done in 'shoot-out' mode...

OK I have found the graphs, but my scanner is playing up so here's a rough comparison: The dyno runs were done on a dyno dynamics dyno in 4th gear (R33 GTR) and in the same mode (non-shootout).. At 95km/h, the T517Z's were making 85kw, the 2860R's 95kw At 112km/h, 105kw compared to 140kw At 128km/h, 155kw compared to 240kw At 145km/h, 255kw compared to 305kw At 160km/h, 330kw compared to 325kw At 178km/h, 360kw compared to 350kw At 194km/h, 365kw compared to 358kw These figures were taken from a dyno reading AT THE REAR WHEELS. The same dyno was used. The car essentially had the same components, same exhaust, cams, ecu etc... As you can see the T517Z's were no match down low and midrange of the 2860R's is phenomenal.. Though when the T517Z's finally do wake up, they make quite good power.. I prefer higher average power than higher top end power... Others might like the waiting and then big rush of the turbo spooling at full boost. The 2860R's have a more progressive power delivery.. From the graph its evident which are more responsive... Hope that helps... P.S once the scanner is sorted, I'll post up the graphs...

  18. I have the -5's, you should achieve your desired power target, it all depends on whether its standard motor or rebuilt, cams, boost level etc.... Your exhaust and injectors will restrict you a little.... I'm at around 350rwkws on 20psi...

  20. Now you should go in a car with 2860R's and tell us what you think... Yes I changed from T517Z's to 2860R's.. Yes I have MUCH more response.. The T517Z's were good for top end, more suited to drag racing, will make good peak power... No I wouldn't change them for anything..... No I wouldn't buy HKS items, the price of the Garretts are too good refuse...

  22. There is something wrong with that R34, it handles like a WRX... For it to understeer like that it must have had crap tyres or not enough neg camber... Either way something's not right....

  24. Car is pushing out 350rwkws.. Got to 251km/h before hitting the brakes at the 200m mark coming into turn 1....
