  2. Thanks for that, that's awesome news, I'm not scared to pull the waste gate lines off my -5s now, throw some e85 in it and get jez to tune to suit. Haha that would b interesting
  3. I've had my rear diff rebuilt with nismo insides, works awesome man, it was super tight when I first got it, basicly a locker, but now that I've done about 2000km hard Klms, it's perfect

  8. I've had the sht in my box for years. I used to have issues with changing into 4th when at 7-8k I'm 3rd. I wouldn't run anything eles in a gtr box, it's awesome stuff, I'd b devod if they changed the blends and f**ked it.

  11. +1 I've had my car for 3.5 years, and its only done 6k Klms, half of that track and dyno time. Haha
  12. Equal length keeps the exhaust pulses arriving at regularly spaced intervals, it's ment be as if, there's a slight gap between the exhaust pulse, so the first pipe pushes its exhuast out, than he second pipe pushes its exhuast in behide the first and it just repeats. that's the theory behide it. It's ment to improve response. They also make the exhaust sound awesome. But to be completely honest, I seen countless Jap and some Aussie shops do tuned length front pipes, so I thought F it, I challenge myself to make a set up to there standards..... And that's what I did. Took me around 6hours, cost me about 180bux so a awesome investment f you ask me.
  13. The Barra motor is all alloy isn't it? If so, it would almost b the same weight as the cast iron rb
  14. yes and no mate, in the end, we drive turbo cars, the exhaust needs get to out, the better you can make it flow the more efficient your engine will be. 3.5-4ich exhuasts seam to work on GTRs. i had a 4inch exhaust on my gtr, it was loud... So i did alot of research into how the exhaust system works, and this is what i came up with to find that happy medium. The way i see it, the exhaust is more dence when its hot, therefore it needs more area. So it needs to be bigger closest to the engine and can become smaller as it gets further away. my exhuast consists of, * Tomei dumps, * Twin tuned length 3inch front pipes * Into a 4inch merge, * The 4inch carrys for 350mm than falls into a 4-3.5inch tapered cone which is disguised as a cat (cough cough) * Than from the "CAT" it flows into a Ti Tomei Catback. So in the end i have around 700mm of 4inch........... This equals a bullshit high flowing exhaust system, which is not that loud. (considering) pic of the front pipes i made, they tuned length within, 20mm
  15. I made custom tuned legth front pipes for my car, 3inc into 4inch merge. Ill post a pic and more details tonite
  16. Why u going back to stock man? Sick of having 450kw ? Hehe
  17. I've got a brand new HKS type R 100mm in a box at my place. We can bolt it on for a few runs next week when I come home . Azza
  18. the main issue is picking the right ones to low mount, so all that mega effort doesnt get wasted : D
  19. that would have scared the crap out of you, how many more klms till you boost it up? im very interested to see how these new turbos go.
  20. Yea what fuel you running, e85 and some 28-30psi loving. Give it what it needs
  21. Every time I hear about the tomei pumps making stupid pressure I get scared to use my one
  22. I've got the S2's, so 68mm they full into a 3inch full tuned length front pipe into a 4inch merge.
