  1. So, I'm not sure if this actually classifies as tools but I'm really happy with these. The transition between my garage and driveway sucks. Without some boards, it scrapes the front lip even at stock ride height it ruined my OEM lip. I have to get rid of the old board and cut a 4 x 6 on angle to replace those old boards.
  2. Here is the torque curve. Modest, but I wanted that to try to keep my stock gearbox alive. Nice and flat though
  3. Very similar build spec and result to acsplit above. My goals are for a responsive track car I can daily on 98 - drive and fill up anywhere. RB30 Bottom end w/ Ross Racing Pistons & Spool forged rods Garrett 2860 -5 Twin Turbos Tomei Expreme Dumps Low comp 7.85:1 (to keep things safe on 98, YES I'm staying 98 for a while) ARP M11 Head Studs Nismo 0.9mm Metal Head Gasket +1mm Supertech valves with Supertech springs & retainers Tomei Pro Cams 260 10.25mm lift ID 1000 injectors Autronic SMC / 500R CDI (Super Old School!) firing through Splitfire coils Adj cam gears Nitto Oil Pump Single 044 pump & 2L surge tank
  4. Hey, do you have the panel that goes across the back of the boot too? If so, I'm keen on the whole set.
  5. I got m3-m8 mandrels with mine. Love it.
  6. Know what else is the best kind of special tool? The one that isn't needed in the first place. Put the starter motor back on the car and we all know what a royal PITA that top bolt is right? Well, since I removed the water/oil heat exchanger guess what? All you need is a 450mm 3/8 socket extension and universal joint.
  7. I've always had good experience with them. Ordering parts on and off for the last 3+ years with them.
  8. How about a bit more DIY tools? Here is my spigot bush removing tool. Worked a treat.
  9. *Barney Stinson voice* Who's ready for Bro-ling?
  10. All the way down around Cape Horn. Didn't go to Antarctic - That's nuts!
  11. Just a few of my holiday snaps from South America.
  12. If the camber arm sale falls through, I'll take them.
  13. Joey, you can also borrow mine but I'm probably farther from you - Turramurra. Mine are Trust/greddy but should work fine on any tooth based lock rings.
  14. Yup, lock tight and bottomed out into threads before I cut and ground it. 1mm drill is go slow and clear out often and you'll be ok. I used soft bolts to make sure no probs too.
  15. I tried Banjos from CGC but they weren't the correct size. I took the standard banjo bolts, tapped the holes, loc-tight'd a bolt to the end, cut off and re-drilled to 1mm. Wasn't a hard job at all.
  16. I find that repco tools are OK. A little higher quality than Stanley and still reasonable priced. Update on the rivnuts. Got to use it for the first time with some m4 nuts. Worked great. Took more time to drill the holes than install the rivnut. And it really looks professional.
  17. Here is my contribution. I added some little covers over the pan vents. Not sure if you can see the small hole down the bottom to let oil drain back down.
  18. Be sure to call them a Pack of arseholes at the conclusion regardless of where you place tomorrow!
  19. Especially impressive given the fuel cell problem they had that had them stopped while other cars were still out there. Top work boys!
  20. I'm stealing their thunder but this is too good not to post. The SAU LeMons "Race Team"
  21. Aggro ftw! I got bumped off the podium by Deongster. Good job dude!
  22. Here's my video edit for the event.
  23. Then add the bow chicka chicka music!
