  1. Damn... wish you guys had 4WD dyno, Lumpy did a Beautiful job on my tune for the 180, now the GTR is being tuned elsewhere.. Not my call though.. I hate living in the sticks otherwise I would be in for a tune after the next round of mods..
  2. How many extra kilowatts does this mod give you.. Put a HKS Sticker on one side and Type R sticker on the other side and you should havce almost 400rwhp extra... :bs!:
  3. I am a complete lover of Tomei equipment, after fitting Tomei PONCAM's to my already modified SR20, I got a completely new car, so muhc fun to drive, so I am more keen on going for an even higher lift cam this time, I want to keep the revs low adn I love mid range and torque. So I am thinking of going to the Tomei PROCAM 260deg 10.85mm lift along with Springs and lifters, I think that these cams should really be a great addition to mid range addiction. Anyone running these cams?? Just hoping the 2530's won;t run out of puff on these cams, my last turbo on my SR20 did, dropped 1psi at redline.. I haven't done Desktop Dyno simulations yet, but I will very soon. The ones for the SR20 was pretty close to what I measure with my GTech Competition Pro - no dyno for 1600kms..
  4. -=my 2 cents=- No Power gain is more than possible, extra flow at the wrong rpms will not help power, would be interesting to see the dyno sheet and the mods list. If no other mods I would say this si more than possible, but no torque gain is not so believable.. Add a few mods and actually utilise some of the extra flow potential and I am sure you will notice power gains, this is not a first cab off the rank mod, you should already have larger zorst, pod, dump, more boost before you consider this type of thing.. -=end rant=- Word
  5. I buy a lot of stuff via Taka Kaira, I spose I am just a little sceptical about Aus suppliers as they always screw me over cos I live in the middle of nowhere, I might Nengun a go with FC Commander.
  6. Equal length is for gas scavenging and for better flow characterisitcs as the gas is coming into constantly rather than the possibility of colliding and casusing turbulence.. In terms of spool up time on my SR20, I got maybe 150-200 rpm quciker boost response, what i did notice was a removal of the ceiling at 6500 rpm with the stock manifold and a really chunky torque boost at about 4500 rpm.. I got one of the SS Autochrome ones from the states about 18 months ago and got it ceramic coated and then I built a custom stainless heat shield. It was an excellent investment, that I realised even more once I changed to Tomei cams.. Quite worth your while in my opinion.. I too will be looking for GTR low mount jobs very soon.. Anyone get a decent price I am interested.
  7. Tomei equipment.. I have done a lot of research into Tomei, I fitted Tomei Camshafts into my SR20.. Tomei engineer everything for mid range power, response and torque, whereas comparatively, HKS produce higher pm horsepower. This is evident through their camshafts for the SR20 Stock SR20 240 deg 9.2mm lift. Tomei PONCAM (Baseline) 256 deg 11.5mm lift HKS baseline 256 deg 10.5mm lift.. Lift give your more torque and mid range power, whereas duration is only useful for higher rpm power.. Everything Tomei that I have had including Cams, Springs, Rocker Arm Stopper kit, Dump Pipe has all been of exceptionally high quality and very very well finished.. I produced a lot of Dektop Dyno Engine simulations for different Camshafts for the SR20, including HKS, Tomei, Trust, JUN and JWT.. Tomei came out on top every time.. They may be a little more pricey, but I think it is worth it.. I even got more power at idle adn off of boost with Tomei PONCAM and boost came in earlier as they advertised, no cam gears added either, just 0 deg timing.. I personally will be fiiting Tomei Equipment to my RB26, in the form of Tomei PROCAM 260 deg 10.85mm lift Tomei Headgassket 1.0 or 1.2mm Tomei Tpye A or B Valve Springs Tomei Lifters Tomei Kevlar Timing Belt Tomei Adjustable Cam gears. Tomei RB26 Dumps I believe I am like you, I love mid range, I am not one to rev my car to get power, I enjoy good response and a "chunky" mid range.. I am a full supporter of their equipment.. Over the coming months I will doing RB26DETT Desktop Dyno Simulations for Tomei Camshafts and other Camshafts, hopefully with the vision of making my purchase mid year as it's too damn hot to wokr on car up here at the moment..
  8. might be interested in just a HC if that is available..
  9. I am assuming you mean an ETC or ATTESSA Controller?? If so, check Greenline www.greenline.jp That is all!!
  10. New "Bored" Game from MATTEL, play it when you're BORED!! INCEST: The game the whole family can play!
  11. Hey anyone know where to get good priced low mount aftermarket manifolds, I have 2530's and might be interested in getting some better flowing manifolds. Also, opinions on the best dump pipes, I have seen Trust jobs with the collector for turbine and wastegate down quite a way. I also like the Tomei dump design, which I had on my SR, worked wuite nicely.. less collection resistance.. Opinions appreciated.,.
  12. I would post a pic of her here if I knew it wasn't going to get me in a heap of trouble.. Like I said I would give her a go over WOW anyday, but I sure as hell couldn't talk to her.. f**kin g hell is he annoying!!!
  13. How do you come to this conclusion, a properly tuned, asbolute pressure, solenoid EBC will be faster, a lot more reliable and have a faster attack time than any Stepper Motor controlled unit on the market. I am really interested to know your theory here as I have both Stepper Motor and Solenoid based units and I know what I prefer...
  14. Power FC is laptopable with the FC-Datalogit kit from New Zealand.. check it out, if you're intersted in PFC that is, there is a few things you can do wiht the laptop that you can't do with the hand controller, like change the thermo fan swithc on point below 95deg.. www.fc-datalogit.co.nz
  15. I can't find an ATTESSA controller in Nengun. I haven't ben able to find any new ones anywhere.. Anymore help here..
  16. I take it this is for R33 only?? How big are the pods, will they hold 60mm Guages, as 52mm guages (2") look a little small on teh pillar if you used to 60mm.. Might be interested if it can be done for R32 GTR. Guage positions similar to GReddy units would be good.
  17. Sounds Pricey considering that you can get Z32's cheaper than that.. I think C-Red can get Z32's for around 550-600 new including plug..
  18. My mate recently dumped his missus siting the following reason: "Between my job and Warcraft, I ahve no time to spend with you.." So she ahd to move out, which is probably a good thing, she is a sour bitch with a major attitude issue, but has a great rack.. I am not into Warcraft, so I probably would have picked a round in the sack with her over the game, but I would ahve to leave very quickly afterwards.
  19. Sorry OT How do you tell if it would work on an older PFC, is there a guide somewhere as to what will work on what??
  20. Anyone running the Tomei PROCAM 260 deg 10.8mm lift, as I am considering changing up to these in a few months, I know that I will have to do springs, lifters etc, I am jsut looking for people experiences and wether there is any pitfalls.. I had excellent results from the Tomei Cams I put in my SR20, the high lift cams made excellent mid range..
  21. Takeshi's Castle... Download em on eDonkey network, quite good...

This was my Baby. I affectionately called her "The Bitch".. It was a cuss to drive slowly, but went pretty hard, ended with just over 300 rwhp. Lots of mods for security as well.
