APEXi FC Commander Model: 415-X001 I bought this unit new off of Nengun a few months ago, but it was the wrong one for my type of PFC. I have tested it in a mates R33 GTST (unknown PFC version) and it works fine. I have replaced this unit for another to use in my GTR. Just looking to recoup some costs for my next line of mods. I haven't even unwound the whole cable yet.. Unit comes with all the usual accessories, including Japanese manual, I can provide a copy of the FC-Commander manual in English PDF format at buyers request. Pics: Not 56k friendly... But very big.. Picture 1 Box Label, showing Model. Picture 2 Controller Label on back, showing model Picture 3 Picture of unit in box. Price $300AUD Firm, Check the Nengun price, I am making nothing on this at all.. Infact losing, but you get that.. Freight The item is with me in Karratha WA, I can send via Aus Post. Once per week I get access to a Post Office, on Fridays, so it will be sent then. I will send it COD Freight so that you only get charged the exact amount for your location. If you want insurance I can register it and insure it for you, of course this will come at your cost. Payment: Preferred payment method is Electronic Transfer. Details will be given to the buyer. I will give oyu my mobile number, address and full name so that you can be sure I am legit. Buyers Responsibilities: It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that the item will wokr on their Power FC. I have stuffed this up myself, so please check as I won't be accepting a return. I suggest following this link to work out our PFC type and applicable FC-Commander version, remember that certain types software versions require certian FC-Commanders.. APEXi FC Commander Link Use the Google Translator if you please. The item has been tested as working, but shall be accepted in as is condition. The results are in!!! Tomei Poncams installed and tuned...
Yorik replied to JAGR33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Tomei drop the base circle of the cam shaft so that overall diameter of the camshaft including the lobe is with in the head. The diameter goes from 32 to 30mm, the solid lifters that they supply are larger so that it contacts the smaller shaft. This way you can get more lift without machining the head. Of course I am welcome to being corrected if there is anyone here with TOMEI procams with high lift.. -

No machining necessary, change the springs to Tomei Type A, change lifters to Solid type and reshim accordingly. Which I am more than happy to do as I am lifting the head to change to a stainless gasket anyway.,. Also putting in the Oil restrictor at the same time amongst other things. That car that you know of, it would be good to know what sort of power range it has, not so much power output, but the usable range, maybe even compared to yours.. I won;t be doing this to my car for a while, but you can be sure there will be full details.. -

I put a set of PONCAMS into my 180 and got similar results.. Now with the GTR I am considering going for even more lift than the PONCAM can offer, in terms of percentage increase I want to go with the PROCAM 260 deg 10.8mm lift, keep my boost at 1.2 bar and try and get some more power in the mid range and hopefully drop my max torque from the current 6000rpm that it is now.. This is really good to see the PONCAM increase so that I can more understand what to expect from the PROCAMs.. I will be running desktop dyno simulations soon, I did some for the SR20 and the results were very similar, so I am hoping that I can get good results with the RB26 model that I am working on.. I wonder if 10.8mm is too much lift?? PS. Your schwartz is also long like your wang. -
I bought the wrong one for My GTR, I got the wrong model unit. It still has the cord all spooled up and everything.. I will check the part number and tell you which one it is. I will be looking for $300 not including freight, which I should be able to do fairly cheap.. My sweaty hands only been on it like three times, I put it in my mates RB25 PFC jsut to test it and it worked fine. I already have my replacement in the GTR..

Received the controller today, very happy, trader feedback left.

PM Replied to, should be here soon enough.. It is the sticks up here after all.

How is mine coming along?

PM Sent regarding payment... I am going to keep the M's Controller for the one 'legal' drag event a year up here.. This controller should complement it nicely. I should have basically a lot of control over the 4WD system after this.. Cheers..

Alright I would like to get one of these now, the M's TSC is perfect for Drag Launching, so this shoul be good for my street driving as I am finding the R32 to a little too tail happy when trying to apply the 420 hp.. Please PM me your payment details.. I take it they come with a full set of installation instructions or atleast some chicken scratchings on a napkin??

Hi peoples.. I managed to acquire an M's TSC (Torque Split Controller) when I was on a Yahoo Japan spending spree and I just got it  .. I have been looking for instructions or something for it for about a month now to no avail.. I ahve searched the forums, the web, p2p and scoured through days of translated Japanese websites.. Nothing.. I was wondering if anyone had one and could get me some instructions or explain how they believe it to work.. From the testing that I have done it seems that it is like the HKS EDA in that you dial in the km/h that you want it to cut out at then drive and it applies full torque until you reach that speed and then it cuts back to standard ATTESSA operation... I have noticed that if I corner hard it also cuts out and goes back to standard ATTESSA operation.. Can anyone comment on this / giveme a link to go to get info / get me a set of instructions / explain it to me.. At the moment I am thinking that it is just a Drag Launch tool.. Not like the GRID controllers etc.. I might just get one of those Controllers that are being built by someone in the forums.. Any help is much appreciated..

I had the Dark metallic blue in my last car (180SX) and this R32 GTR is strangely enough a Metallic Black.. I am not sure if it is original, but it sure looks like a low level metallic finish.. Weird, I have never seen another like it though..

Mounting oil filter relocation high or low?
Yorik replied to Abo Bob's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Not after the thermostat on thermostatically controlled oil cooler lines though... -
Anything plumb back, I ahte attention.. I am really liking the GTR stocko's at the moment.. I would like to add that my least favourite would have to be my old GFB Mach One, that thing was offensively loud, it was mounted inforn tof the passenger wheel on the 180 and shortly after getting ti fitted I changed gears next a cyclist in ym small country town (as you do so that you can keep the car quiet as you go past) the noise scared him so muhc he fell off his bike... I felt bad Living in the country he must ahve been sheltered from BOV's I think I was the first one in town too...

Mounting oil filter relocation high or low?
Yorik replied to Abo Bob's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The problem that I ahve found with teh oil cooler mounting positions is that when you finally go to flush out your old shitty oil to replace it with nice expensive Redline oil, you ahve to dump the oil cooler and line to get all of the oil out.. My line go up then bakc down to the oil cooler, so oil collect in the cooler.. I haven't yet his stage ont eh GTR, but I hit it with the 180.. I am just pedantic though... -
Cheers, yeah I currently have the HKS EVC3 fitted that came with the car, I will be fitting my AVC-R (on the shelf form last car) in a month or two, the AVC-R will definitely be in series with the actuators. In terms of the other items, the cams are coming out in favour of Tomei Hi Lift PROCAM's 260deg 10.85mm so I am hoping that the extra lift will enable a lot better torque and flow in the lower RPM's. ECU is a Power FC, my tuner did mention that they are boosting a little late, even for 2530's.. Cheers for the ideas.. DANOOH:- Any chance of some photos of the hard piping kit in your installation, my fear at the moment with the HKS pipes is that I won't be able to easily fit my Z32 AFM's to them (which I know I can with the GReddy setup) and that my filters won't fit.. Some pics of different installations helps me to visualise better.. Cheers if you could. Also what AFM's are you running??

I think I might be suffering from a bit of Wastegate creep, I have just started loggin with my FC-Datalogit tonight and will be checking the boost delivery in a graph, I am interested to check out some of the other sufrrounding factors before I make any hasty changes.. But my Tomei Cams (260deg 10.85mm lift along witha fair bit of associated hardware) project is now a few steps closer.. In terms of the pipes, I did a fair bit of reaseach today at work (slow day) and I foudn that the best deal seems to be a deal on Greenline for HKS pipes, still up around the $1000 AUD mark, but they offer some more piping in the recirc area aswell.. 4x turbo-IC pipes, 4 x Inlet suction pipes and 3 x recirc pipes.. I have Z32 AFM's already and sizey K&N's so I have to be a little careful with positioning and pipe sizes as these semm to be designed more for the HKS pods which are a little smaller in terms of protusion (about 1.5-2 inches) .. More reseasrch me thinks..

Hi, looks like I am going to have to pull out of group buy.. I ripped off the pipes the other nigth and had a good look and I already have HKS Stainless Manifolds under the stock heatshields.. Sorry for any inconvenience.. Along with the HKS dump pipes I am now at a loss at to why my HKS GT2530's have such a high boost threshold.. They make 0.6 bar by 4k rpm and 1.2 bar by about 5k rpm.. I would ahve thought that with the restrictions removed that 2530's should spool up a little quicker.. I will ahve to check the compressor flow maps for the 63 Trim variety.. Now I am much more keen to get some of those pipes for the turbo outlet.. Looks like Nengun have the best price for GReddy kit. I can't find anyone else selling these or any other brands, will ahve to look harder me thinks..

Cool cool...

AVC-R all the way, if you know what you're doing with them adn tune them properly, it helps to understand what is happening and how each setting works in a technical sense, then the AVC-R in my opinion is the best..
-
Anyone tried running this under Wine, having to boot my PC into Winblow$ is not my favourite thing to do..
-
Any updates on said Group buy?
