  1. R32 and cef aren't interchangable. Cef are different to most other nissans due to the placement of the spare wheel I just made myself an exhaust. Problem solved
  2. I think you are thinking of R32's. They came with a ca18i
  3. Nice drift hack there. The headlights aren't aftermarket.. They may have HID inserts perhaps
  4. No more boost? SR's are tough. My 200 runs 20+psi all day Its probably not a rock... Its probably a piston
  5. Mechanical work doesn't pay enough to make it worth me getting dirty! You need to wind in more boost and take it to the dyno again
  6. I only just got my cef back on the road after it spat a headgasket.. That was a fun job to fix I missed driving it sooo much!
  7. You just need to make sure they have the same bolt pattern. They will be either 5 or 6 bolt. My cef is 6 bolt but i think 33's are 5 bolt
  8. I bought some stuff off this idiot when he first advertised it. He was charging ridiculous prices for stuff then too. He seems to think Cefiro parts are worth more than gold. Try $100 for one indicator in the front bar. It should have been more like $30-40. I have since bought a pair as spares for about $50 for the pair I was desperate though as i needed the bits for compliance so I had to pay the stupid prices. I would only buy off him if you were VERY desperate
  9. Got pics? They would help. Take pics of front, back and sides
  10. I reckon now that i've done it once, i could do a drive-in, drive-out conversion in a weekend. The stuff that takes time is making the exhaust and FMIC piping. The steering arms are the bit that goes from the steering rack to the tie-rod ends
  11. The conversion from stock RB20det manual to SR20DET manual in a cefiro is pretty straight forward. I'll run through what I did to make it all work For starters, You need to pull the old lump out. I did this with the engine and gearbox still bolted together. This is always the easiest way to pull a driveline out. This is all pretty straight forward. Remove all the cooler/intake piping Take out the radiator Disconnect the wiring loom from under the dash and pull it though to the engine bay Disconnect the fuel lines, and throttle cable and any other bits that attached the engine to the chassis. Unbolt the engine mounts Lift While the engine was out, i gave the engine bay a scrub with a scrubbing brush and scourer and degreaser to get rid of the toxic RB stink through my engine bay. The SR engine mounts will not line up with RB crossmember, so I used an S15 crossmember (which bolts in with no mods), complete with S15 steering rack (although an S13 one will work just as well). I used S13 steering arms as the S15 ones were too long. The standard lower control arms remained in place. I bolted on the flywheel, button clutch and gearbox while the engine was out of the car, also put the stainless manifold and S15 turbo on while it was still out. The more you can do on the engine before you install it, the easier things will be. I also fitted the mount on the engine for my oil cooler kit. I put the engine and box in while bolted together. There is ample room to do this. The engine mounts lined up fine. I was lucky to find that the standard RB20 tailshaft was the exact right length for my driveline, and had the same output shaft splines. We had to modify the SR gearbox crossmemder, which took about half hour. The mounting holes needed to be elongated by about 8-10mm, and part of the lip needed to be ground off. This doesn't have much effect on the strength of the crossmember. I used a stock S13 radiator, which fitted the standard bottom mounting holes quite nicely. I did have to make custom top mounts out of thin aluminium that i bent to shape. I made up a mild steel intake pipe and set about welding up some intercooler pipes for my fmic. Having a tig welder handy makes life easy. Also fitted a cusco catch can and plumbed it in There is some wiring trickery involved, but i wont go into that here as i can't remember the exact details. You just need to have a SR20 wiring diagram/pinout handy, and the same for the RB, then match things up The rest is just tidying stuff up. You will need a wheel alignment if you changed the steering rack. You will find the tacho will be out, so I got an aftermarket Pivot tacho. I made my own front pipe and 3in cat back as there was nothing readily available The finished product Since then i have fitted a few more things to make it faster and handle better Sorry about being so longwinded, but you did ask!
  12. Meggala gets a workshop to do all his work. You are better off with someone who did the conversion themselves. There are 3 SR cefiros in Sydney that I know. You should check them out. You are welcome to come check my conversion out and have a chat about it. PM me if you like
  13. Yeah that was my mate with the black cef. I'm not a fan of the front bar either. I can see why some people would like it though
  14. That's 197.7rwkw thankyou very much!.. on 12psi with factory ecu, injectors and afm! will be interesting to see what it does on 16-17psi
  15. Are you saying that those things listed are a necessity? Not many of them are. Chances are Sky80 would have spent a similar amount doing the same mods no matter what the car was. Anyway, it isn't an argument, just an observation
  16. Based on that list you put up, most of the additions weren't necessary. Looks like they were things you 'wanted' rather than 'needed' Can't blame the car for that
  17. Yeah it will be quite a few months before they have anything ready, hence me looking for something in the meantime
  18. Yeah MFX bought all of OBK's moulds and all the unfinished projects
  19. cc's rear isn't an autech. It is an aftermarket bar that is based on a autech, but modified withe extra flaring at the bottom
  20. Cos I don't like doing stuff dodgy. I'd have to hack crap out of the stock bar to make my cooler fit, and it would look too obvious.
  21. Hey I am after an aftermarket front bar that will fit a 600x300 cooler behind it. I'm not too fussed what colour or condition as i plan on getting a full kit when mfx finish their cefiro kit, but need something in the meantime so i can fit my fmic anybody got anything laying around for cheap? Prefer sydney
