  1. R32 Centre Vent. One of the right slats is broken (pictured). Apart from that nothing wrong with it. $45 + postage. Location : Hawthorn East, Melbourne. Mobile : 0425 730 031
  2. For GTS-T - Blue cluster is series 1 (1989-1991) Series 2 had Grey background on the instruments in the cluster (1991 or 1992 to 1993)
  3. I recently went through the process of sourcing and reinstalling all the standard rear trim inc parcel shelf and seats. May touch it but it'll be very close and the rear back part has a bit of extra foam on it that sticks out to hide gap between the parcel shelf. Shouldn't be an issue. Might call them up and ask them how much for the bar. Looks to be very easy to install.
  4. Just found this cool harness bar that Trackart does. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.595510337142840.156270.366646096695933&type=1
  5. Fair enough. I like the Viper too GPS tracking would be more handy than just a alarm with a radio transmitter from the 80's. Your best bet would be a combination of devices. I'm pretty sure the Viper can be paired with a good ADR immobiliser
  6. If someone is asking about a Viper I'd say its remote start and paging
  7. Interested. (R32)
  8. Include me in this, if possible. Thanks
  9. Hi mate, Racepace Exhaust is 3">3.5" Front Pipe then 3.5" all the way through. Cool.
  10. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Car has had to spend the Christmas and New Years at the workshop as the seals for the leaking ABS pump are no where to be found in the country atm. Santa was kind this year. Got new replacement left and centre vents to replace the usual broken old ones on 32's and some minor clips and screws that were missing. Also got some Superior Auto Creative Carbon-Look Sun Visor Cover set to cover up the tatty OEM ones. Plan early next year is to start preparing the car for the engineers certificate and registration. Items to do before hand include repair underbody holes from roll cage and some minor body repair including some dodgy roof damage repair that was present when I first got the car. (will post pictures when I get her back) Have a great new years everyone!
  11. Looks like it will. Also GTR rear seats are only for 2 so you'd be turning your car from a 5 to a 4 seater. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/311734-r32-4-door-transplanting-gt-r-rear-seats/

  13. Thanks for that, good information. I'll get the location changed before I do a track day!
  14. Interesting. We figured that if it managed to hit the oil cooler then the whole front floor of the car must be hugging the floor so i'd have bigger problems than just the oil cooler by then Going by the below pic is your one mounted the same as mine, also how low is your car? Thanks for the heads up, I'll get them to take a look at it while it's in.
  15. Worked fine for me, spoke and texted him earlier today.
  16. Have found some time to get some more work done on the interior. A lot of the interior trim damaged from the roll cage as been replaced. In the process decided to change a couple of standard bits. Found a seller on eBay (from UK) selling some leather bits and pieces so decided to give a few things a go while i'm assembling the interior. Interior leather trim covers. Had to get these stuck on with spray on adhesive and then trimmed very carefully with a stanley knife. All done. Fitted onto the car with all plastic clips replaced with new items. If you look closely in this photo you can see the holes from the roll cage are visible. Will be putting the plates back on as an interim solution. Leather passenger side handle cover (Velcros to the handle) Carbon Centre Console Cover. This was a bitch to get on with self adhesive and I stuffed up the trimming of it a bit. Am sure this will add at least 5kw by the time i'm done. Also changed over the head unit and put some temporary 5" Response kevlar speakers into the front doors. Car's not a boom box but I gotta have something in there to listen to when I get her road registered and am stuck in Melbourne traffic I guess. Going into Xmas I hear that Santa (in the form of the Missus) will be buying me some more interior pieces currently missing or damaged and some after market bits. Hot tip for those with partners : 1. Load up your online part shop shopping carts with parts you want. 2. Tell your significant other, your login details and ask them to buy them as presents. Still have to fix the drop in boost so got a hold of a standard intercooler for cheap. All paint stripped now. Considered polishing it briefly but I'm going to put a mesh over the front bar anyway. Back at Racepace for it's first (1000k) service, re-tune with the new intercooler and a few other minor things while it's in there.
  17. Try Import Monster
  18. Bought it off a member on here. It's a custom job with a series of led lights that someone has hooked up. Wouldn't be too hard to do just time consuming . I'll probably remove the lights and just fill it up, though as the lights wouldn't be ADR approved to be used as brake lights.
  19. Fuel tank at the front on these things I take it? I guess the coming investigation will shed more light on this over the coming weeks.
  20. Don't sweat it. Should be ok. You can also contact DOTARS if you end up needing a copy of the import approval for your vehicle, although that full VIN should do fine.
  21. If the car was brought in under the previous 15 year old rule, it won't have a "compliance" plate. It should have a second longer VIN number stamped somewhere in the engine bay if that's the case. That's all that should be required.
  22. Oh hah you beat me to it Yeah that's the old 15 year rule and that's all you need. I'm getting my one done in a few months too after a body restoration. No crazy turbo upgrades so should be a bit easier. Good luck, mate.
  23. Just to add more info - If your car has import approval under the old 15 year old rule (where 1989 onwards vehicles were allowed) you don’t need to go through any process which requires a “Compliance” plate. You need to get your car engineered as per how you would have previously done it when it was freshly imported. For an ’89 GTR it means, side intrusion bars, fuel filler restrictor, child restraints anchors etc etc You should already have your import approval certificate so no need to reapply for another one under the new scheme. You need to get your car engineered then follow the next relevant step as per whatever state you’re in. Not familiar with how NSW does it, in VIC it would be a road worthy certificate – you get the idea. As far as having a big single etc, personally I think you’re pushing it a bit as chances are low you’ll get an engineer to put his/her name against that approval sign off for a car that was imported 7 years ago. Hope that helps. I know all this as I’m in a similar situation so checked all this first before getting my ’89 GTR rebuilt and road reg.
