Disco, that exhaust is/was good for 500+hp on a ct26 turbo'd 7m and built by TRD
I don't see there being any disadvantage to the lobster back pipe work apart for the poor bugger who had to make it lol
As Dave said, combo sounds good
But a stout engine relies more on how it was put together rather than the sum of its parts
Providing it was screwed together well it looks the goods
I would love to go back to a certain local shop and show them exactly how "absolutely f**ked" my engine was lol

Also, was the "wrong" part the cause for an engine failure?
Without anything on paper, it could be deemed as fit for purpose or an equivelant
Could simply be he couldn't get that specific part so got the equivelant
Thats all well and good, but what happens when you are carted off to hospital for a week and the car gets towed straight to the insurance assessor's shop
