  1. I too would like to know....I dont think it is all that hard as a DIY one thing to note is that you will need a sealed battery if you dont already have one
  2. fair enough, I cant comment on how the adpatronic works, but the closed look wideband o2 on the EMU I had was rubbish lol, was all over the place, was handy to get a ballpark figure though. Maybe set it up for the cruise cells and go for a gentle run down the highway see how it goes
  3. I would just use it to monitor, unless you are getting rubbish fuel economy
  4. damn, that car wouldve been awesome!
  5. Now you just need a good exhaust manifold setup
  6. An update cause I have no life. The motor was diagnosed as being "absolutely f**ked" by a well known Canberra workshop was told by a former customer of theirs to get a 2nd opinion, so I got off my ass and bough a compression tester...and guess what....motor is fine blew a turbo though, so was a good excuse to start looking at decent dump pipes while I wait for my spare one to arrive from QLD Also starting to get the car ready to run at the local hillclimb...auto trans and all...
  7. Remind me not to buy a Dodge Viper over there lol

  9. yes...yes that one is and hey you have a Rover.....therefore your opinion on cool cars is null and void
  10. The thing with BOV's (f**k a I hate that word...such a shit word...BOV...) is that even the 50mm race ones arent going to expel 40+lbs/min of air in 1/2 a sec will reduce the pressure, but not completely
  11. what power were you expecting? what boost? 230rwkws isnt bad from a highflow
  12. Finding the limits of things is what I do best haha
  13. DR30 RS' and HR31 GTS-R's will always be cooler than any 90's GTR and better looking Mid 80's styling ftw!
  14. I have seen it done, but not switchig via MAP just a switch and an output on the ECU, hit the switch, switches on the race fuel setup and off you go, flick it back again and back to PULP not as fancy as your idea, but imo more fool proof (the car in question had the boost control setup to match the fuel map it was using
  15. I see you lurking Mr Craved Whats new?
  16. more stoker kits for big block V8s than there is Jap turbo motors From memory it was a rego/tax thing in Japan, small engine means less $$$ to register = more appealing to buyers
  17. how fool proof is it regarding snapping the throttle open to overtake etc? for me it would come down to the few thousands bucks it would cost to setup would buy a shed load of E85 and/or PULP
  18. ahah in my case something usually has broken though
  19. doesn't affect toyota's or any of the other cars that run them on the hotside intercooler pipes
