  8. Hey guys, I'll be straight up, not looking to import a car for at least 2 years. But I would like to become a (slight) guru on importing, Not looking to start a business or anything like that. What i would like to know are the finer details about picking a car, When I do bring a car over I will be using a broker. But things like: X car is $approx $10,000 landed and complied Now I'm guessing that is less the brokers fee. But what other costs are there? Does that above price include customs fees etc or are they on top of the above as well? Also - Pre 88 vehicles (which is what I'd be looking at bring in) Do they have to be standard/Unmodified like the Cars coming in under SEVS? Obviously they have to be able to pass rego here in Aus. But will a e.g heavily modifed Z20 Soarer be aprroved for Import? But yeah for some reason I have a love for Quirky 80's cars (silly I know) Any thanks in advance
  9. Doesnt fit from memory. R32 RB25DE head would be the one you want
  10. about 1/2 an inch
  11. Good idea, also, double check it is actually tdc, use a straw or a screw driver....or if you can get one a proper TDC dial gauge, stick it down the #1 plug hole and rotate the motor back and forth a little and watch whatever it is you are using and stop once it doesnt go any higher..
  12. Its just a matter of carefully ratating the crank to TDC on #1, and rotating each cam as well. eg move the crank a bit than the cams, then the crank then cams etc till everything is where it should be
  13. They do not even compare to a proper semi like the AO50
  14. Hahah fair enough, over a 1000m you would be pushing to see 250km/h even with bulk power
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/362709-temora-1000m-sprint/page__pid__5788356#entry5788356 looks like the organisers have put up a thread too

  17. Evos only have a 50L tank from memory
  18. Yeah they are an interference motor
  19. Looking good. Those rear arms are more designed for correcting the camber on very low cars rather than for more beg camber
  20. You need a puller with 6mm bolts...or you can supply your own and some washers to suit etc, but can be tricky
