  1. Talk to GCG and get a one of their hiflow turbos. (unless you have big hp plans, the GCG will makw 260rwkw with the correct support parts.
  2. Maxx - are you stalking me. You have posted after me yet again
  3. If interested I have a nice 33 4 door that has done weddings (good for the bride as its easier to get in and out) I have the white ribbons and Tule (sp??) (white frilly stuff used in wedding cars) is needed.
  4. Or you can machine the valve and make it lighter (no thinner than the thickness at the collet (sp??) 4000 is a bit low to have valve float unless someone was trying to do something tricky with the springs. More often than not I have seen double valve springs bind up at this point on modified heads. What springs did you install?
  5. Good to here you got it. Did you sell/swap the GTS, cos I heard of someone looking for one.
  6. If you want a new turbo soon, keep it at 14psi, otherwise 10-12 is considered a sefe level for a std turbo. Mine ran 14psi for 12 months befor I had trouble (but it wasnt the usual distruction of the exhausw wheel).
  7. Most of these auto/light-aircraft compressors are the same, its just the brackets that are different. Expect to pay over $1000. You may be able to get a good workshop to order one in and swap the brackets over. (ask them to look for the compressor model on the compressor itsself and then ring Bosh or whoever to order a replacement - Nissan didnt make their own compressors, they outsource them and add a bracket) I would avoide second hand as they tend to be less reliable once they have dried out and been without pressure for a length of time. Hope this helps.
  8. Hope this helps
  9. I highly recommend Maxx's cold air partitions. I have one, as do many others. They look great and do their job well.
  10. I had a similar problem, (sounded like I had run over a branch and it bounced up and hit the underside of the car) turned out to be one of the rear bolts that went through pineapples wasnt quite tight enough.
  11. I though swinging is all about sharing?
  12. I thought that was only on Fridays? Did someone change hte day?
  13. Guess your going on your grandparents memories of the old country - Europe can be high stress and VERY competative. (Dont believe all the holliday advertising)
  14. whats the "full detail inside and out"? can you sit down yet? It sounds like they tried to give you a new one!
  15. How did it go?
  16. I left just after 10. My wifes car made 185.6rwkw which isnt bad, but more important Shaun fixed up the air/fuel ratios and made more power and torque throughout the range.
  17. I'm off to boostworx today (Monday morning) to get the wifes SAFC and ITC all tuned up, if you see a 4 door R33 in their stop and say hi (I wont be going anywhere since its a long walk back to Tea Tree Gully)
  18. Sorry - prices were for SA, they are a few grand cheaper in Qld and NSW
  19. I often see them for around $15,000 with basic mods and rims. Stock std would be a bit cheaper.
  20. Another benefit is a lot less attention from the police (unless you are driving like a di*k head)
  21. I would be keen to know. Could you PM me if its not for general publication.
  22. If the conversion was done in Japan, Regency wouldnt be aware that in a past life it had a different motor. I hope they havn't just bolted a turbo on a NA motor, if they did it will be short lived (but a nice ride for the short time). Get it checked out by someone who knows Skylines.
  23. From the factory in stock condition the RWKW are slightly less, but I stick by my statement that they are the same engine and will produce the same power. In these forums we are talking modified cars, so I doubt many people here will be intending to run factory fuel or ignition maps. (and hence the factory ECU is only a starting point) The auto will reduce RWKW a little more than a manual but it can also substantially increase bottom end torque and virtually eliminate the lag associated with gear changes (as well as beeng a lot cheaper than expensive tripple plate clutch kits)
  24. hmmm I smell a closet feeder (how come their is a member called Pawley at http://fantasyfeeder.com/ffw/punbb/guidelines.php ????) Think about it guys .... Uses the pecture as a wallpaper And didnt Mel start to put on weight about 10 months ago?? I think the secrets out
  25. Its the same motor, so same power. RWKW will be different due to auto.
