  1. Very nice. Go the 4 doors.
  2. Hey, its not that bad. Not sure I want it on my car, but dont have a problem if others do. Who said all exhaust had to have a 3 inch tip with a Jun sticker above it.
  3. As mentioned there are people you can talk to if this is getting stuck in your head. In my experience of going through thing such as this and in supporting others going through tough times, I put a lot of faith in a BBQ or a trip to the pub with mates and a chance to talk things over with others who are prepared to listen and or contribute to the discussion. Its short notice but why not meet up somewhere this Friday or Saturday for some food &/or drink. (could be a pub or I am prepared to offer my place as a meeting point) These things have a habit of hanging around in your mind for a long time if you dont confront them, so please take time to talk to someone when you feel the time is right.
  4. Hi Steve Could you phone (0413 648 750) or PM me if you have space for 1 passsenger and are passing through the city on your way to FMC. (I work at Womens & Childrens Hospital, but rely on public transport during the week) Guy
  5. My best wishes go to Drew on a speedy recovery, if their is anything i/we can do please let us know.
  6. I was thinking of getting something like the Atom Here is a link to a clip of it http://www.openwheelers.com.au/videos/Beyo...morrow_30MB.mpg
  7. Welcome to yesterday Did u read Hybrid Turbos thread "respect Da Wagon" http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=117737 Very funny though, just not quite sure if it is for real or just a joke
  8. I have used both. I statred with a bleed valve (still have it if you want to buy it) and then went to the EBC. The BV got me started, and was great value for money, buyt the EBC brings boost on earlier and harder (though I could soften it if needed) and holds boost MUCH better. (less concern about hot days and cold night boost increases). If you have the cash I prefer the "Do it right the first time" approach, but a BV will give you a lot of bang for a few bucks.
  9. Very nice, hope it gets spotted a lot more. I know how long you can wait sometimes, I dont think I have been spotted once yet
  10. First pull out the globes and check if they are single or double element globes/ (only double element globes will be able to give you the effect you want) If you are lucky the problem could be that someone has put the wrong globes in.
  11. So can we get a discount???
  12. A serious racing team would use a manual, but I havnt noticed any problems keeping up with any of you guys through the hills. I select my gears manually rather than leave it in drive, and I have the torque you are lacking whenI need it.
  13. I'm not opposed to the idea, but just wondering if its needed. If the car is idling at the lights on a hot day, the trans isnt really generating a lot of heat (this occurs when you torque it up) If you already have a trans cooler it would have better cooling than a standard car, (and stock autos dont have many problems) and I would be a little worried that the fan might restrict air flow and in effect make it worse when you are driving, and when the trans IS making heat. I am a big fan of trans coolers (I have one on my auto) but im not sure if the fan will offer a lot of benifits
  14. When u consider the weight of the car, the extra 80kw probably isnt enough to make it an even comparison if they were both manuals.
  15. Drove down Hindly street last night and DIDNT spot VANGE
  16. Good to see that others apreciate the auto. Daren, what torque converter (ie the rpm) are you using? Its one of my next mods allong with injectors so that I can get the power the turbo is capable of delivering.
  17. And the Power fans abandone ship (and its only round 3) Perhaps some Crows fans should purchase these as they are at a good price and you will get to see the Power loose reguarly. I noticed the showdown tickets are not included however???
  18. I have a 4 door 33 you can have for that sort of money, and its dynoed at 180rwkw.
  19. Noooooooooo Sleeping in the raw is always better
  20. I may be able to offer a 3rd option (take over an existing club) I know that the SVD club is still running but due to poor turnouts at meetings (and cruises?) they have cancelled the meetings. If enough skyline guys joined in, it could well become a skyline club. (I think groups like Infms, PSI etc have taken a lot of the boyracer type members out of the club) It already has the rest of the club stuff set up and their are a few skylines already involved (some from this forum)
  21. Great cruise, good to catch up with everyone. Whos up for another is this weather holds up?
  22. My wifes skyline has some SAU stickers on it. (Came from Queensland) Since weight is minimal it mightbe easier to get them from Qld and post them down.
  23. If the AFR's are all good then my guess is the timing, As mentioned above you didnt tell us what ECU you are using. Could be time for a PFC or at least a SAFC
  24. Top job Matt, looks very nice.
  25. I vote the barossa. I have some maps from the last barossa(ish)cruise that could be extended to give a real mix of tight and fast roads.
