  1. It is lots of driving but yeah a bit to much motorkhana no closed road stuff. it's lots of fun though & some seriously fast guys you would still have fun harry and go well, but it is costly. cheers russ

  3. how did you go snowy?? bloody evo's!!
  4. i hope things are repairable snowy!! good luck to all, givem hell & showem how fast gtr's are yet again!! wish we could be there but just out of time, cheers russ
  5. thanks sk oil pump drive is being resized, with better tolerence as we speak, so you hit the nail on the head i think. yes and your right along with dirtgarage, we use i fairly harsh launch control limiter and think it might be the cause. but i really need to use it as it does help off the line especially with so many starts. it never ceases to amaze how good the clutch is in our car,if any one wants a clutch that is near industructible & will not slip, and it is that light we took the clutch booster off and it is still lighter than standard. then you should talk to doug at NPC in Brisbane. cheers russ
  6. HI SK I have done all of those items you posted, but we do run the tomei oil pump and to much flow is an issue as you know. the configuration is new n1 engine r33 brand new standard balancer' 19 row cooler oil change every event and filter sometimes twice my thoughts are that we were breaking them due to the amount of launches we do in them, for instances on a normal dutton event we would launch from above 6500 rpm more than 70 seventy times. so in two rallies and maybe a hill climb event adds up to roughly 150 - 180 launches all whilst using launch control at about 6500. which as you can imagine is quite severe. the oil pumps both cracked across the gear. we have not done a pump since upgrading, but do have flow issues( too much) cheers Russ always glad to hear other opinions & input too
  7. i have broken two n1 oil pumps so i could not recommed them myself! big pump or dry sump if you want to continually launch it! or start saving cheers russ

  15. NAH they havent checked any noise limits to either event so far. there is only a slim chance they we can go to VIC which is a shame. cheers russ apparently that turbo has been zanitani tuned, not sure but was told its either titanium shaft or impellor or both, maybe you could shed some light Roy??
  16. HEY ROY Our thoughts exactly front bar has been removed & getting a new lower lip, also getting rid of the two tone lower side skirts. not sure how it will go against the r32 as far as drivability should be interesting. the engine in it will be only good for drags i think, we are dynoing it up and then may sell either the whole engine or build a twin set up for it, I HATE LAG!! main reason we bought it was it was to good a deal to pass up. Snowy the evo is my wifes car, i may drive it sometimes, i think they are a great car. but when you get out of a great supercar like a modded gtr everything else feels a bit ordinary and boring as you guys would know. cheers russ
  17. off course not!!
  18. dont get to cocky or i may have to bring out the new toy early!! :laughing-smiley-014: carbon fibre mmm!! hehe!!!!!!! oh bbtw here's a link to the little incident i had, have a look where i start braking and then i pull the handbrake on not sure who took the vid or posted it
