  12. hey snowy was on the 18 inch re55 semis, lol !! with a shit load of front camber for circuit!
  13. I havent had a reply yet either! BTW my gtr ran 10.62@ 133mph tonight!!
  14. jimbob i would put money down that your 4wd system is not operating correctly! i had the same problem(r32gtr) with traction in 1st and sometimes 2nd gear accelerating in a straightline it would step out or just bounce of the limiter, that was with approx 350 kw's @ 4 wheels. i have more power now and no traction issues in a straight line. it can be a number of things wrong , pm me if you would like some ideas. cheers russ btw man after my own heart, i have an evo9 too, mine is silver.
  15. Hi i also have the whiteline swaybars in my r32 gtr i have the front on full hard and the rear on full soft, i have never had understeer issues with my car. what a your alignment settings, how much camber & toe front & rear? has somebody possibly fitted a front lsd to it? cheers Russ
  16. i empty condensation out of my catch can every week, you dont need to worry.
  17. "the 31 boys are going to hit the booze boat to phillip island some time this year" Now that sounds like a plan, would love to do phillip island oneday, even better with a few 31's. russ
  18. hi is there any dash lights coming on. could be hydraulic pump issue, i would be surprised if the 4wd system needed rebuilding. you should get a second opinion from a recommended repairer from someone on this forum from victoria, russ
  19. Very nice car mate!! if i can give some advice dont go near a track day unless you have a modified sump or some sort of upgrade to lubrication system, especially if you are on semi slicks or modifed power. it will only end in a dead engine if you do. cheers Russ
  20. Veilside R33 if you now the history and build up, i would definately go a modified gtr.you will save heaps money. make sure you know all the important mods so you have no issues down the track(if you pm me i can tell you what i have learnt from my experiences). very depressing destroying a 400kw + engine as a few on here would know. i also agree not many cars can make you feel like a quick gtr can down the strip and on the track, i love em. cheers Russell
  21. lol the car was a bullet in a straight line, but terrible under brakes & mid corner. i think the 4wd system was not working properly will be checking this week. check out the brakes roy, pretty hot, cheers russ
  22. wakefield park 106.6 semi slick michelin pilots nissan gtr r32 11/02 electronic timing driver mark berry (owns half the car) i couldnt beat my 107.2 car was handling like shit! no excuses though. cheers russ
  23. i would say depends on choice of racing, street, track or drags. circuits & street i think you can definately have too much power. drags i reckon you can never have to much power! circuit i reckon depends on skill and track but for me high 300 kw's @ 4wheels is more than enough and other factors start playing an important part eg brakes and handling just to keep it pointing in the right direction. street i would reckon no more than 300 for safety sake cheers russ
