  1. +1 for ugly round vents and tacky switches and buttons, but overall I like the interior very well put together.
  2. Whens the part when you wake up, and realize you're dreaming. Excessive use of ... takes away from... so please refrain from using ... ...
  3. Fuel costs for me are the same as my other car a vp commodore, so I'd say fairly poor economy (mainly due to a crap tune). A stock gts-t handles really well for what you pay for one these days. If it's got a fair few km's on it new shocks/springs are probably on the cards and a decent set of tyres go a long way. Overall a good car for a beginner into performance cars, plenty of people will give you shit for owning a 33 gts-t, but I believe they're a well balanced, relatively powerful sports car at a budget price, so you can't really go wrong.
  4. Pretty easy to check, just take off the piping the BOV's are on, block both ends, add a tyre valve to pressurize the section of pipe and run the vac line to a nipple on the section of pipe. Now add compressed air, if it's fckd you will hear lots air coming out the BOV vent, if it's not it won't.
  5. It would cost too much to make the conversion feasible. Maybe think of buying and ex-taxi falcon already on gas...
  6. It will make very little difference in ground clearance reducing the pipe diameter where you've mentioned. Providing you mount the kit right you shouldn't have any issues. If your that worried, run the piping behind the cooler rather than under it. Also a 180 bend that tight will cause restriction, I'd be thinking about extending it a bit.
  7. try eBay, 3" straight through resonators and mufflers on there ya'll. Exhaustqueen has a decent range.
  8. That's a great result, 200kW is as much as you'd want from the stock turbo. Pretty surprised at the AFR's, usually with pre-tuned chips they are all over the place.
  9. for $265 you'd want it to be genuine. he's selling other HKS thing's like coilovers so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
  10. Not sure with rb20's, but rb25's have a valve underneath the plenum with two hoses going up to the aac valve, mine failed and I have just blocked it off, solved the issue.
  11. Hey guys, I had the same problem. Something to try if you're having idle issues, get long nose pliers and block off the hose the that goes into first air control valve located underneath the intake manifold, It's the device with two hoses coming off it running up to the aac valve, after this is blocked off you can adjust the idle screw on the aac valve until the idle is stable.
  12. Should be right the cooler you have now is huge, plenty of people have made that sought of power with smaller Chinese coolers. What turbo/s are you running, what motor etc.
  13. EMU would be by far the cheaper option, also easier to tune and easier to get a hold of. Being in china you should be able to get a hold of some very cheap form of fuel/ignition computer, maybe a rip off the PFC. You still haven't said what mods you have on the car so it's really hard to say... Turbo? injectors? etc.

    R35 Engines?

The concept isn't fine, it's not practical, logical, ethical, economical and a whole lot of other words ending in 'cal'. Point being read the quote in my signature...
  15. An r34 with gt-rs turbo, injectors, fuel pump, ecu, exhaust, cooler will make around 260rwkW, which is heaps and boost will be available early (about $5000 if you do the labour yourself). Don't forget all the change you'll have left over after selling the xrt .
  16. Mainly due to the excessive amounts being imported, and the idiots buying a car they can't afford on a huge loan.
  17. A feeling of superiority. Haha, na I need an r34 GT-R before that.
  18. Vote 1! for dumbest thread ever.
  19. Sounds like you're being taken for a ride.
  20. It will have to have 6 gears to do 300km/h+
  21. Haha that's great to here, I have a max oversize slide hi-flow too. Can't wait to get my rb30 back together. What tyres/rims are you running? also what manifolds are you using?
  22. how much are they? I would have thought the evo7 would be heaps more than the GT-R. I'd still go the GT-R I don't like 4dr sedan's much, what about a nice Series6/8 rx7 they'd fit into your budget too.
  23. Hey Cubes, What are these clutches like when dropping it in first or snapping second. I bought a cushion button off slide before anyone else had troubles, but mine is absolute rubbish slips all time and has a lighter pedal feel than stock.
