  1. 33's are always being wrecked for bits in the forsale section. Maybe if some lives near you, you can buy a whole door and transfer all the parts over. That's what I'd do anyway.
  2. Knight Rider FTL
  3. haha, you're wrong.
  4. Maybe get an autoelec to have a look at it, probably just something simple you missed. A second person to have a look over things always helps when you do all the work yourself.
  5. Cheers Mafia, it's pretty damn loud with a pod filter. I put the standard airbox back in to quieten it down.
  6. Yes, it's for a plumb back system. The black hose is to go the recirculating pipe. It can be used with an atmo BOV setup too by blocking off the return pipe.
  7. For sale is a stainless steel intake with BOV return, adapter hose, silicon hose/reducer, oil breather filter and all necessary clamps. To suit r33 gts-t. I bought this off performance-wise, who bought it off a groupbuy a while ago. Quality is good, condition is also good though it has a few scratches these are covered by the silicon hose once installed. Steel intakes are excellent for more intake noise and never collapse under vacuum like the standard ones. This can be used with the standard air box easily but an additional 45degree 3” silicon hose is required. Best results with a pod filter. Reason for sale: Changing set up Price: SOLD $110 posted, pick up also available if you live close Any questions just pm me.
  8. Sounds like the terminals aren't tight enough, mine did the same thing a while ago when I took the battery out.
  9. 10. - Supra dashes. - Standard cd players that are built in that prevent from swapping to another single DIN cd player. - V8's in holdens and ford's that are covered in plastic. - Airbag steering wheels. - Any aspect of a volkswagen.
  11. Invest in an adjustable actuator with the spring tension to suit your application and use the turbo-tech for fine adjustments. This combination will hold boost better than an EBC and standard actuator. This is the setup I have anyway and it works well (I now use an avc-r with an adjustable actuator does the same thing)
  12. Might help the poor guy develop some common sense.

    Go Kart Hire

Looks very well prepared and costs heaps less than the crappy indoor karts we have in Toowoomba. I'll have a look'in the next time I'm around that area.
  14. It's just a lack of back pressure, the idle can be reduced with the screw on the side of aac valve and I believe the stock ECU has some sought of adjusting thing on it too. Go to the DIY section there's a guide to doing it under 'cleaning the aac valve' or something like that.
  15. Since we have many rb30's over here and many spare parts for rb30's generally it's easier and cheaper just to buy rb30 parts, so most people on here would not even care to cross reference parts.
  16. What is a 'good price' to you? Sometimes you see stock 33 gts-t manual go for 10-12k and lower depending on condition etc. etc.
  17. 260kW with a standard rear housing would be pushing it big time. Spend the extra on a vg30 hi-flow you 'might' get to your goal with an aggressive tune.
  18. http://autospeed.com.au/cms/A_2424/article.html This was in a recent thread. It's a really good idea rather replacing the afm you have a bypass around the afm and tune the safc proportional to the new volume of air flow entering the motor.
  19. Love the look of this car, may not be genuine avs model 5's, but lenso muse wheels look pretty close to the money. Does anyone know if these 18's or 19's? because they seem to fill the guards out well.
  20. I'd imagine they'd be highly illegal for a street car.
  21. x2, I wish I spent the extra cash on one of these rather than a hi-flow. Best compromise for an rb25.
  22. You'd have to get a plastic welder to extend them or something. Also 2-door's have this bit on the side skirts that rise above the door level and 4-door's obviously have a door there so that would have to be modified too. Just look at some pics if you don't understand what I mean.
  23. Bad idea, you don't 'need' performance mods but you do need insurance.
  24. Got a multi-meter to test it?
  25. Probably like you said, just the battery.
