  1. Pull old turbo off, put new one on.
  2. Is it over boosting or anything? Besides that could be as mentioned earlier a blown gasket.
  3. There is whole thread on the Mafia's build :sorcerer: You're dreaming if you think you're going to get 300rwkW out of a hi-flow.
  4. Not having a go at you or anything but 10km/h over the speed limit is a fair bit and to do it three times consecutively you must do a fair bit of speeding, so what goes around comes around I guess. It's one of my pet hates when I'm going the speed limit or just over and someone comes flying past me, especially 4WD's it's not like that extra speed is going get you anywhere faster. If your worried about points and loosing your license you could always pass off some of the points to someone else. You won't have much of an argument in saying 'if you knew you had the previous fines you wouldn't have speed' because that just proves you had intent to speed.
  5. Haha, toowoomba sucks for tuning options. Only people who do chips are autotech and paramount. You're better off selling the chipped ECU and getting a PFC, then getting it tuned by rob at autozone or Terry at paramount performance
  6. A stock turbo isn't normally laggy, something else is going on there... when are you reaching boost? Could be a leak in intercooler/piping. Not sure but I think SECURITY had his ecu tuned to suit a Slide max oversize hiflow.. which would be way off the mark for your car. tt 300zx's are quick cars and would take any gts-t with the same mods, soarer's are the same deal.
  7. Get one from performancewise on this forum they look good quality and he isn't into selling crap. Or any big name jap coolers, be prepared to pay considerably more though.
  8. I agree, a thermostat is a prerequisite for an oil cooler. If you don't have one the motor will take ages to get up to operating temperature.
  9. Better off buying the parts through the traders on this site. I mean they're cheaper than trade prices at places like Repco etc. And performance shops buy shops buy some of there parts from repco etc. so go figure. Just for a laugh I went into my local performance shop and inquired how much an 040 installed would be, he said $370 for the pump and wouldn't quote on labour (piss weak). I paid $200 for the 040 through this forum and installed it myself for free.
  10. If you don't do any track work and you have a r33 gts-t like me Ferodo excel's are the go. They have a good feel, only fade slightly if your really riding the brakes hard down a step hill for a long time, don't squeak (that I've heard anyway) and are really cheap if you ask for trade prices. I don't honestly think there is a better value for money pad for street work and occasional sprints. Fronts for r33: DB1165XL Rears for r33: DB1220XL
  11. I know that, I'm just giving a reason why some people don't run bov return pipes... Personally I'd always vent the bov back, I can't survive without daily driving ability.
  12. I only read the first bit of your sentence. But for your oil breather just disconnect it at the top bit of hose and put on a small oil breather filter thing, monza makes them and they cost like $10 at supercheap, look stock too. If your car is highly modified and having oil issues a catch can is necessary until you fix it.
  13. I'd be pleased with those sought of results out a cheap manifold. Being high mount it'll probably have less chance of cracking than the last one too. Was the knock reading of 20 taken on the dyno or on the road?
  14. The only reason I can think of to have external is if your bov is to far away from the intake pipe. i.e. bov just before front facing plenum or in guard. GHB... I love drugs too.
  15. You'll just have to drill a hole in the new intake pipe and weld on a bit of pipe when the original bov vents back in, and use a bit of heater hose to connect intake pipe to bov vent pipe.
  16. They're made specifically for that rim, finding a centre cap like that will be near impossible, unless the rims that you have an optional centre cap like that. You could use universal ones like on eBay but they don't cover the wheel nuts like that one in the pic does.
  17. I find ebay very good both selling and buying. You can't find classy stuff like mp4 tv watches anywhere else... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brand-New-MP3-MP4-P...1QQcmdZViewItem
  18. http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/feedback/default.aspx?formid=228 Sending in false stories is the wrong thing to do in this situation.
  19. Bit off topic, but what brand resonator's do people use? I mean theres plenty of info on mufflers but resonators seem to be lacking on info like cfm flowed and noise reduction. Anyone recommend one?
  20. Expect this And this And you should probably change your user name to cheap sh1t as mentioned earlier.
  21. lol at 290km/h. This has to be a setup, fck I hate the media.
  22. MPH alone is not enough to determine power output, there are too many variables.
  23. Speaking of rotary's in oldens http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Roadpacer
  24. the same as the other fifty million Chinese cooler kits on the market.
