  1. The bosch 040 has a mesh filter at the base of the pump and no it doesn't need, and can't have a sock filter. The way to get 040's right is to compare the 040 with the stock pump on the bracket. The 040 can go as low as the top of the sock filter where the flexible plastic thing is. The pump sits about 4-5cm lower than the bottom of the bracket.
  2. Are you sure he is mechanic? are sure he is not a downy? 040 Can be done easily, just requires common sense and locating the clamps correctly so they don't hit the edges of the tank.
  3. yellowpages
  4. x2 'hi flow' cat is too much of general term everyone seems to be classifying their cats as, when most probably flow a lot less in comparison with quality hi flow metal cats that cost $350+
  5. Yeah I was watching Weber through that too. Hamilton off again!
  6. Who's watching F1! this is crazy 6 cars off in the gravel due to aquaplaning.
  7. na, gotta be NA due to the new P plate restrictions. Sounds like a good price for your car though.
  8. Hey all, Just looking for a non-turbo r32 gts for my younger brother. If you've got anything along this description give me a pm or reply to this thread. Not too worried about condition, can be 2dr or 4dr and must be manual. Price willing to pay is dependent on condition etc. but roughly looking at $5000-$9000. Will travel to see car. Cheers, Brett.
  9. Do these sit lower than the standard type m bar?
  10. Current car: 33 gtst Next car: 33 gtst drifter, current 33 is too pretty to drift
  11. Pirtek do house calls, so if your oil/water lines are off and there's no lines to compare with they can make them to fit.
  12. r32 rb25de head on the existing rb25 block and transfer all the existing rb20 stuff over to the new head, injectors, manifolds, ignition system etc. except use the rb25 turbo you talking about having. rb25de head: ~$1000 GT-R valve springs: ~$100 Head Gasket: ~$500 That's assuming the rb25 bottom end is ok
  13. Yeah they're only meant to keep the cops away, they cause huge back pressure. Just put a proper silencer in, they do reduce noise but I wouldn't be revving it out with one in place. Otherwise invest in a decent bodied muffler with with twin tips, they tend to take the drone and headache causing noise away. I personally can't stand noisy exhausts.
  14. I'll probably enter this as a first .
  15. spitfires and oil cooler
  16. yeah, they like making up their own version of the truth. Quote Garrett: Does the motor actually turn over, as in start for a second or can you only hear the starter motor?
  17. Either way should not matter as long as the reading is the same for each gauge and does not fluctuate in pressures. I'd be more inclined to think the EBC is the correct reading especially since the autometer is probably mechanical.
  18. pm slide he's probably interested in it.
  19. Stock BOV is infinitely better than eBay trash
  20. Twin for sound and looks. The twin always seems to reduce drone.
  21. Looks great, just joined
  22. As long as it stays there it should be good. Mine at the moment engages nearly at the top, painful.
