  1. Looks like a great build up mate, will be good to see another R32 GT-R out at track days soon
  2. Congrats on the time Paul, the car sounded great out there (especially off the line), was good to be able to have a closer look at it in the pits rather than just reading about it on here. The black Godzilla Motorsport R32 was awesome to watch all weekend, 7.7 was flying!

Thanks mate, yeah will have to do full rebuild and look at (and purchase) a few of those things I guess... lot of research to do now!

Thanks mate, bottom end we think probably due to starvation issues. Saw an R33 GTS-T with SAU stickers but that was it. Heap of quick GT-Rs out there including JFK, a white Racepace R33 I think along with a couple of targa style R32's and about 5 R35s! Was an awesome trackday in terms of the types of cars entered!

Had the GT-R out at the Maserati Track day today at Sandown, 2nd time out since doing a heap of mods to the car, still getting used to it, but was happy to do a 1.21.3 before the engine cried enough! 6. Picked up the latest issue of 'Motive' DVD during the week which has 90-odd minutes of Superlap coverage, some really good footage, well worth a look (and the thread bump hopefully!) www.motivedvd.com for more info

  9. Can I please have mine changed to Z1LLA Note the 1 not an I Thanks
  10. Jeremy is a great guy and no doubt would be happy to answer any questions about the car or class etc
  11. Sounds like it Roy! Some quick times posted... http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?18/07/2009.WIN
  12. No worries mate, I would have posted some pics up of my cage anyway, it looks pretty similar to BBGTRs I think. I've sent you an email anyway regarding your other question via PM. The interior was not altered except for the obvious mounting points and where the front intrusion bars bolt into the floor (the carpet had to be cut a little). I would go bolt-in and powdercoated finish. They mounted my seat really well, as low as it would go. Interested to see the quote as well.
  13. Was very impressed with Meridian and the work they did on my car (bolt in half cage, fit race seat and harnesses). I sourced the seat and harnesses through other contacts.
  14. Nick, those pictures are of my car when it was in there getting the cage/seat/harnesses done a few months ago. The door skins remained untouched, this is how I wanted it as well. If you want more pictures let me know. I chose the Cobra Evolution GT seat as well due to it fitting me better, the sides actually come up higher than the side intrusion bar.
  15. Nice video, bit more variety of the cars entered would have been good. Well edited/shot though!
  16. haha yes saw that, it came pretty close to ending in tears! I was happy with my 1.23.3, first time out since doing heap of work to the car, was just using the day as a bit of a shakedown. Split the hose that runs from the turbos to the intercooler so the car was down on boost by more than 10psi for a couple of sessions then we attempted to fix it and only got one good timed session in where it went 1.23, each lap in that session the car was going quicker and the hose blew off with only a couple of corners to go on the 4th lap, felt like it would have done a high 1.22 for sure. Oh well, at least everything else held together and will try make it out to Winton

    Bolt In Roll Cage

Bad luck Mick, hope you get it cleared up ok!
  18. Car is ready, looking forward to it!
  19. Entered, now just gotta hope the car is ready!
  20. Was the twin system much/any louder than the single? I am looking at changing from single to twin system possibly.
  21. Personally I'd choose a 13B, maybe with a GT35/40, water injection to get away with not needing an intercooler, keep the standard wheels, a sunvisor and rear venitian for that old school look and a dummy exhaust tip to finish it off.... Heres one we prepared earlier: The car has run 12.2 at 125mph in full street trim (including 175 wide 13-inch tyres) and has run 11.4/121mph on slicks (but still full exhaust/pump fuel etc)
  22. Thanks phunky monkey, should have read it closer Car got tuned today, should hopefully have it back later this week so forms will go off then.
  23. I am very keen on entering, however just waiting for the car to come out of the workshop, getting tuned in the next few days so everything should be good to go I hope. I guess I can always enter then cancel/get a refund if its not ready?

    Kebabs

I got to the Cellarbrations store next to that once a month or so for work and always see that GT-R there, looks good.
  25. You can get Century batteries from Supercheap Auto, probably won't have a listing for the R34, so measure you're existing one and take note of the terminal positions and CCA rating so you can compare.
