thats really strange... i know of phil as i am a moderator in boostcruising so i see him post alot on the forum,.... its strange because he is a really popular member, allthough having his car impounded whilst on a boostcruising cruise he is usually a pretty cool guy he owns the silver ceffy if i am correct... if you require any more info about him give me a pm. but i cant see why phil would do such a thing *shrugs* -Ruffels

as car enthusiests we know all about stereotypical misconceptions held by people in the wider public, coz god knows we are all hoons *rollseyes* as someone said "there are bad people in all religions", unfortunatly some recieve more media attension then others Ruffels

^^^^ Mulkers i belive this isnt exactly true the fee that you pay with your rego is more of a public liablilty insurance.... it doesnt actualy cover other peoples cars if you crash into them... more if you hit a person and they require medical attension ... stuff like that i tihnk *correct me if i'm wrong -Ruffes

big wake up call after 666 - DAN ... dan's r34 was stolen in brisbane and basically ripped apart had an alarm and immoberliser too i think having custom work or something that sets you apart from other cars makes it easier to track down your ride if stolen for example dan's 34 was noticed when someone put a deposit on the stolen cars engine, which in someway was unique Neo or something scares the crap out of me to think what i would do if my baby was stolen.. and ive only got 3rd party *cries* -Ruffels also... full comp for me will be $3500 a year... the cars only worth like $16k at that rate i'd pay the car off in like 5 years worth of insurance just not practical... also as im driving a car over the power to weight ratio .. insurence companies will see this as a breach of conditions... and refuse a payout if i make a claim, so i might aswell take my $3500 and light it on fire... coz im basically making a charitable donation to them in those circumstances as far as i am concerned... instead im going to get 3rd party fire and theft, and take my reamining $3000 and put it in a bank account with high interest and only use it in the case that i need to fix something urgently... if the car gets stolen i'll get the $4000 from 3rd party payout and my $3k... ... $7k is better then nothing also in the process of purchasing a gps/gsm tracker but remember guys such devices can be jammed using a $300 or so device that most car thieves would quite easily have access to so still not 100% safe

lol i'd love too yeah well i know my roadworthy for the car was done there and certain things wernt replaced,, like the windscreen (has a chip in it) and a few other things got past (not that i mind that much) but from those stories above i probably wont be taking it back there actually now u say that name... lambros was the one who imported my car because i know the previous owner and he said his mechanic imported it for him hope my car isnt el-dodgio -Ruffels

yeah thats the phone number on the sticker was this the car? allthough it probably would have had different plates when you saw it or could have been another car alltogether,... so anyone used these guys? -Ruffels

dont these devices rely on you knowing the exact laiden weight of the vihicle, if this is so then you would need some sort of weight station to get an accurate figure rather then guessing, aswell as that the cars wieght is also changed +/- 50kg due to petrol just my thoughts on posible inacuracies -Ruffels

anyone heard of LA performance i recently bought an r33, and on the back window it has a sticker with "la performance" written on it, i assume this is where the car had work done or servicing, i figured if the people there know the history of the car etc or anytihng like that, then i might aswell take it back to them if i need stuff done, but first i thought i should see if anyone used this workshop, and if so are they any good? cheers -Ruffels

and yeah... ive still got the reciept, packet and all for the boostguage, i bought it from ricer barn.. do u recon they give me a new one if i take it back.. or wil they tell me it has to be repaired by speco? -Ruffels

strange that Bigmicky lol coz my mate dropped it when we installed it... it still works fine... but instead of reading 10psi when i full boost it reads 11psi, which would explain the 1psi lol can it be fixed? and does anyone have any further ideas on the guage surround in the dash? thanks guys -Ruffels

hey guys just been looking at some dash's of other peoples skylines and realised they arnt like mine i was allways under the impression my instrument cluster was like that from factory, but i could infact bewrong (btw its a s1 33) my second question is: i just installed the boostguage the other day, and is it normal for it to be reading 1psi while the car is turned off? thanks -Ruffels

its funny that no one has made mention of the driver allmost any idiot can drive a manual,... and an auto for that fact... but its how well you can drive it 1/4mile times depend alot on the skills of the driver aswell as the performance of the car yet everyone is saying autos are slower then manuals, and vice versa hmm -Ruffels

your probably loking at the $120-$150 range for an o2 sensor, but with minor difficulty you can use a ford EL o2 sensor, they are substantially less $$, but if your not worried bout $50 or so then just go the skyline one -Ruffels

do you have the left air con vent, if so will this fit a 32 gts-t?

fark.. theres over 3200 cars on that list... no way are they gonna be able to police that....
