these are the worst tyres ever i have them on my 33 gts-t dont go near them in the dry they are ok but in the wet you may aswell have ice skates -Ruffels

how are they going to police this "P1 and P2 licence holders will be banned from driving turbo-charged, super-charged vehicles (diesel vehicles excepted), eight-cylinder vehicles and those with engine performance modifications." how is Mr. Policeman going to know if my excel has extractors or not just by me driving past? lol its more a deterent to people thinking about buying a tubo or v8 car etc. like how many of the victorian guys under 21 (on p-plates) driving 33's and 34's have copped the $107 fine for being over the power to weight limit ....not many there are to many variations in cars for the police to be able to properly patrol it.. they might at first, but they will get sick of just looking out for cars over the limit as well as catching people for speeding..... there are heaps of turbo, supercharged, and v8 cars that arnt allowed to drive and what about skylines, your average cop couldnt tell if it is turbo or non-turbo just by looking at the outside i'd be very interested to see how well inforced this is -Ruffels

This is my R33 Skyline - Colloquially called Skylin (as i need to get the paint out for an E) Now for the install (its not finished yet, but allmost! The Parts: Hokay, So here it begins (well the photos anyway) - the Sub Box - this isnt anything fancy - i just made it out of 18mm MDF to fit into the corner of the boot so that i could retain as much boot space as possible without removing the space saver: So now for the install itself - the odds and ends out in the driveway: The Boot as it was pre install - as you can see theres not much room so we were trying to keep as MUCH space as possible, the origional plan was to put the amp beside the battery there and if you had a smaller amp it would be entirely possible but this chunky DD C4 Amp was way too wide for the gap (as you can see): We then decided to take care of all the power wiring. I swear i still have bruises on my hands from crimping these. (the RCA and remote wires were allready laid before the camera came out): Fuse is a must Earth point - cant get much better than that: As you can see, we didnt need much power cabling in this lol gotta love 33's Power wiring all done: Time for a Trial Run before things get bolted down: Ok, Didnt blow up, Check! Didnt start smoking, Check! Pumped out some phat beatz, Check! Time to put it all together. and here u have it as it stands at the moment: This still has a fair bit of work to go - including the speakers (which havnt arrived yet) but its looking good as it is, im also currently in the midle of creating a false perspex floor which will have a skyline feature in the centre! let me know what you think -Ruffels

i think you'll find alot of people on here ar bias, as i own an r33 i will tell you they are better in most cases, and same for 32 owners so it does come down to personal preferences alot, the only way you can decide this with out being told by other people is to do factual research and most importantly test drive, true that the 32 is older then the 33, however in comparison to local dealership cars of the same age they are elite. power and handling wise can be compremised these days so easily through mods that its more a case to identify which car is a better "base" providing you buy a stocker and have plans to mod, i suggest you go an test drive various 32's and 33's including the 32 gtr, as if you are potentially in the market for a 33 gts-t then a 32 gtr isnt too much firther out of that price bracket just my 2.416 cents -Ruffels

i just bought a new stock bov coz the stock one that was on the car when i bought it had been welded shut to stop it from opening i'll take a pic tonight of the bottom of it to give you an idea..... sounds cool for a bit, but you get sick of it lol, and it does slow you down, coz the turbo almost needs to respool after every gear change. -ruffels

i got a set of 245/40/r18 Falken ZE326 and must say they are pretty f**ken useless in the wet i feel like im seriously skating on ice when i drive in the wet (complete granny driving aswell) how ever in dry they do the job well enough -Ruffels

mmm my 33 does it, infact did it twice today.... only mods i got are pod and bleed valve...... scared the shit out of me coz i was coming to an intersection and i slowed to take the corner, car stalled but i didnt realise for some f**ked up reason lol coz i still had lots of momentum, but i lost power steering while i was half way through the corner and allmost hit a car coming the other way :s threw it back into second and took foot off the clutch and it roll started and was all good again, but it scared the $hit out of me -Ruffels

ok .. i have a prob i cut the green wire, but the door still locks itself errrmmm so what wire did i cut lol havent noticed the car do anything strange yet, so i hope it wasnt a vital wire lol -Ruffels

ive got a 33 gts-t and i think my car is just badly tuned, but i get about 280-300 with a mixture of normal and boost driving, and bout 350 on normal diving only per tank -Ruffels also i would assume a gtr would have worse fuel consumption lol, couldnt tell you how much worse though noticed u were off boostcruising aswell hi mate!

hey just like to ask, why are you so adimate on getting a genuine sileighty, isnt an aftermarket job just as good? I personally think you should drop it, coz i dont think you have alot to stand on, these are the risks you take when purchasing a car you havent inspected yourself, and unless he showed you fraudulent papers stating it is something that it is not inorder to sell it, i really dont think you have a case sorry. But if people think otherwise it would be interesting to see how you go! sorry i cant really help you much more, just get advice from asmany people as possible, and if need be contact a lawyer or solicitor. -Ruffels

thats strange, i have the exact same setup, bleed valve on 10spi with pod, and i dont have any problems with it, allthough sometimes i find it will "fart" if you like when i let go of the throttle after giving it a bit, i think i may just need a tune though.
