  1. i just love the way that the government only looks at "quick fixes" banning young drivers from getting in a high performance car..(i know this isnt exactly the argument here, however) it only fixes things short term... and in most cases acts as a mild deterent.. but like i said ... vlanket bans dont fix the problem.. and the government fails to look at long term solutions hmm anyways ... as for speed... thats correct the chances of dying in a car at 100km/h is FAR FAR greater then at say 60km/h .... however ... the fact is that is doesnt take alot of speed to kill you with a sudden impact..,,.. its the manner in which this speed is being treated with.... eg ... unmaturety and lack od reguard of safety generally leads to the fatal "MIXTURE" there are so many variables on which this could be argued.. and im sure some of the people on this site could argue thier view til christmas ...although hard to achieve.. ever since grade3 when i got sick of my teachers punishing the whole class for something one student did... i have surrounded myself with the attitude that people should be treated individually.. and on that note i belive there are lots of people who should just never be allowed to drive due to thier behaviour and level of maturaty... however this is allmost as hard to categorise as knowing when someone is singing to thier radio or using handsfree lol... so i shall end my reasoning here. nb. the fact that i am a 17 yearo old on my L's with an R33 gts-t shal not enter into me being bias towards a certain opionion lol -Ruffels
  2. thanks Damo Monster ...... Nozilla... i dunno what u mean about the rca from the head unit going to the positive on the battery lol..... however yes i have run the two wires together...... i ran them together down the centre and under the console .... so the rcas and speakers wires are together yes ... do u think i should seperate them? -Ruffels
  3. power wires? its a 33... the battery is in the boot only thing i can think of is that my power wire for my underbodies are running along side the speaker wires ans rca's.... dont know if it makes a difference.. but its only a small power wire.. no bigger then the remote wire

  5. ^^^^ yeah but how often do they walk out to the carpark and look the car over.. they are usually women behinf the counter that take your money for rego and if u are transfering rego they will look at briefly and stamp the road worthy ... aswell as collection thier gay 4% stamp duty lol other then that they never look at your car at vicroads as far as i know they didnt look at mine

  11. ouch.. i dont like the sound of this.... its onyl a few drips.. its not large amounts of oil.. i know its not my engine.. i had it compression tested and other factors point to the fact that the engine is in tip top condition which if what some of you guys are saying means its the turbo :S are there any tests i can do with out completely removing thye turbo to see if its on the way out? -Ruffels
  12. ^^^^ Using a small foam paint brush, spread the paint across the letters nice and evenly ^^^^ Finally all the letters have been painted ... let this dry for a further 1.5 hours before applying another coat if needed.... ^^^^ Once the paint had dried carefully get a stanley knife and carefully cut around all the letters seperating the paint from the masking tape ^^^^ Then attach back to car and marvel at how bored you got today -Ruffels
  13. Ok well i got bored today with the old silver "SKYLIN" as the paint had worn off the "E" ^^^^ As you can see! ^^^^ Start by removing the rear garnish and using very fine sandpaper remove the existing paint (if any) ^^^^ Then once you have done that get special masking tape which doesnt leave a residue (as its a bitch to scrub off later) and carefully mask around the letters ^^^^ Keep going... its very tedious lol Finally ... all the letters have been surrounded.. and its ready to undercoat ^^^^ I chose to undercoat the letters because i didnt know how well the paint would take to the plastic surface, however in hind sight i probably wouldnt have bothered with this step ^^^^ Here we see that the undercoat is finished.. and we let it sit for approx 2 hours before the paint goes on ^^^^ So that i could get the paint spread across the letters nice and evenly i decided to add extra masking take so that i didnt get any paint on the rest of the garnish
  14. sorry mate i know your after 32 pics.. but this is in my 33... i just had to measure up heaps til i get the exact place where it would sit flush as thr stock holes on thr brackes didnt match... and left me with the gap too.. so i had to redrill holes in the mounting bracket.... this is how it turned out -Ruffels sorry bout the shitty picture
