  5. Does anyone know who owns the Silver series one R33 Gtst that has great big blue 2Fast 2Furious style vinyls up the sides, a big Autobarn T wing, 17 or 18 mags, a monster tacho on the dash and number plates "KNGR33"? It had Trojan Motorsport skickers on the rear quarter windows too. I saw it last night and had a giggle to myself and thought "time to move on mate, the fast and the furious isnt cool anymore". P.S. I apologise if the owner is on here, but seriously - its time to try a new look.
  6. Thats gold Gus, I remember the old days when you bummed lifts off us all to go out to Lonsdale street during the Nats... I have to admit, they were good times, and somehow none of us ever really got caught up to much in the atmosphere of grog, burnouts and tits. But us proper entusiasts grow up while bogan idiots dont, we go to car shows like Autosalon (some of us go to SEMA) where cars can be appreciated as works of art and people of all backgrounds (be it muscle, tuner or bling etc) can get their fix of quality automotive culture without getting into a fight with some Jap car hater or having to stress about what idiot will jump out of the crowd to grab your girlfriends chest. I personally cant see the point in burnouts (especially being a tyre man) it doesnt take skill to smoke tyres, all it takes is horsepower and a heavy right foot. If you want your monthly dose of tyre smoke and hardcore cars, go to a drift round... Its time for the Summernats to move on... My two cents
  7. I know of at least one idiot in a black R33 Gtst with a big "drift" style body kit who hoons around the Calwell / Theodore area making a bad name for us by driving like a complete moron... I wouldnt be surprised if he was involved. The problem is that Summernats brings out the worst in so called "car enthusiasts" and the pack mentality takes over... I personally wouldnt be upset if the Summernats was relocated to Sydney or Melbourne.
  8. I had a very European morning today... Spotted an Aston Martin DB9 Volante', then an Audi RS4 and finally a Porsche 911 996 wide body... Sweet!
  9. If your front tie rod ends are seized I would be getting your rear rack ends, knuckles and rod ends checked aswell as they are a common problem with earlier model Skylines.
  10. For shame!
  11. OMG Kate is still alive!!! P.S. Hi Kate
  12. I know Glenn and Daniel from ESP very well and they are sensational guys... They specialise in Toyota and Nissan and will do the job right. Give them a call - 6299 4444
  13. Didnt you just get this and join the forum only a couple of months ago?
  14. What size are they? You will find that most low profile tyres will track / tramline a bit...
  15. "Lets hurl a brickie-mart"
  16. I didnt realise that this was an interview... I will post the turbo specs soon. Yes I am using the standard manifold.
  17. Sweet, after looking at that if I wanted to sell I should be able to get $60k+ for mine
  18. Nothing yet... I've had the flu and havent done anymore work to it I will be getting stuck into it in January.
  19. You might have to look at the Toyo's if your after a 225/50R16 as the 595RS-R isnt available in that size
  20. Well I'm sure that everyone knows what I would recommend... But both the R1R and RS-R have steel reinforced sidewalls, 140 treadwear rating, they're both around the same price and are overall very grippy tyres. If there is one main difference it is that the RS-R has a lower void ratio, meaning that the tread blocks are bigger and therefore stiffer, giving you more tread on the road and less squirm in cornering.
  21. Sweet... If you need any help or advice, dont hesitate to ask
