  4. thats the kickdown switch it shouldt lag much at all should changealmost straight away when i stomp on it at 40 kmh it kicks down so hard that it lights up the rears and i just go burning up the st mods so far pod 3" turbo back gtr intercooler 12psi fuel cut defender ( my own design ) garrett T4 highflowed

  6. the only thing i will add to this discussion is do the crime expect to do the time if you have been speeding and you get booked dont cry about it because you konow you were in the wrong iv been booked for various things i know i was doing the wrong thing but hey shit happens i got booked i still dont always follow the road laws by the letter but thats a risk i take( yes irresponsible) if your going to do illegal things on the road just be careful you dont kill or hurt someone else,(if you kill yourself you only have youself to blame) if you get booked yes ITS YOUR FAULT be more aware . look for cops before you do something silly and for ****s sake stop crying about getting booked its not the cops fault you were speeding but it is his job to book you if you were a cop you would do the same

  8. dont forget its an auto so theres a bit more loss standard is usualy about 130-140 for manual auto is usualy about 120-130 rwkw this is without filter and stock exhaust totally stock the figures are this low coz of shitty aussie fuel i cant wait to see what i get now any guesses??
  9. th hole is ther to recirculate a little air when off boost its supposed to keep the turbo spinning faster so it spools up quicker but if you want to block it all you need to do is put a thick peice of gasket paper over the hole and when you clamp the bov back down again it will be held in place and thats enought to block it properly no screws required
  10. ill be there last time i dynoed was 125kw now have fm/ic bleed valve fuel cut defender 3" all the way pod high flow cat o cant forget the bigger turbo i wanna see if i got a few more kw from that

  13. im using KENTEK metal pads on my 33 they squeal like a pig when cold but man do they stop when asked to i have never had them fade on me even from 170 kmh stops only down side is the work the rotors a little bit but they only cost about $100 a set so lets you ssave up for better rotors dba are releasing ther 4000 series rotors for the gts next month thats the ones i will be getting

  16. that circuit you found does work but the problem is it redices your reading from the afm by almost 1v which will lean out the engine big time so when itd reading 3 v it will show 2 v in other words 30% less air i went through all this r&d myself unfortunately there isnt a simple way of doing this the smallest fcd iv seen uses 17 components
  17. it didnt move for me after a whole day at wakefield i just unplug it when i want hicas disabled rest of the time i leave it on it only takes a couple of seconds to unplug it or plug it back in if you want it removed permanently the best thing is to piss off the whole motor assy and put in a pipe like this

  19. all you need to do is unplug the motor to the hicas to eliminate it crawl under the rear of your car and you will se the motor near the diff unplug the wires(hicaslight comes on ) and hicas is disabled you may think that it will move freely now,,,wrong the motor wont move at all its locked into position internaly untill its told to move the lockout kits are expensive because they have a curcuit to fool the hicas computer into thinking its still working so you dont get the hicas light coming on thats all

  21. i had the same problem with mine but worse it was the manifold to head gasket i would not recommend doing this unless you have the neccassary tools because if the bolt snaps inside the head as 4 of mine did you need to drill into the bolt and use a set of easy outs to extract it easy to do if its cyl 3 or 4 but if the bolts fron 1,2,5 or 6 go your going to need a right angle drill cos its a tight fit ti get in there beleive me i did this about 4 months ago to check for where the leak is look for exhaust residue around the gaskets this will tell you where its comming from or when engine is cold( so you dont burn your hand) feel around for exhaust blowing out as you rev the engine a bit good luck if you want ill have a look at it for you and see if we can find the leak
